Went to put money in the bank today (Saturday) I was waiting in the line to put money in and staff are stood around talking drinking tea/coffee instead of helping customers and when I said one staff member said it coz one of there computers is down

Worst branch / bank ever, can end up spending whole lunch break in the queue waiting to be served and being served because they constantly have computer issues leading to one slow computer working. They don?t report the faults as apparently that takes them 10 mins each time. One lady shut the branch just as approached the doors whilst other customers inside were still being served, leading to a return the next day and having to wait an hour in total just for them to sort their computer and serve. Also have to go into close most accounts rather than being able to do so online or on the phone. Absolute joke of a branch. Oh and not to mention the other day one of the ladies declaring balance so loudly for the whole queue to hear, might aswell have read our account number and sort code whilst she was at it.

Went in to track down an old account. Staff were super helpful and friendly, and were clear about what my next steps should be which gave me some peace of mind

Unhelpful staff even when provided photo I'd and the expired card to prove I am account holder they refuse to send a new card for my existing account or amend any details. Halifa have provided enough stress to contemplate hurting yourself and has provided sub par service for the last 20 years. Never open an account with Halifax you have been warned

Waited over 45 minutes to be seen only to be told they have no cash in. Why don't you put a sign up saying we have no cash instead of wasting people's time. Are you a bank because last time I checked banks are ment to have money in, the whole point of banks.

Went in to print off two bank statements. Both the front of house assistant and the staff that helped were polite. Excellent customer service.

This bank is almost never open. For people working 9-5 you litterally can't get a any service. They need to put in more opening hours to fit their customer base

There is no contact email. I don?t want to clock up a telephone bill waiting for 10 minutes on your expensive telephone number. There is no way of contacting your company that doesn?t involve calling at a branch or cost me money and I?m not even a customer. I?m trying to do the right thing and tell you that you are sending letters to my address for a person who no longer lives here and hasn?t for 10 years. Your loss.

Staff are moronic
