Spoke with a very informative chap, extremely helpful came away with a tester pot, colour charts and plenty of knowledge. You don?t get service and knowledge like that in places like B&Q wouldn?t hesitate to go back and buy paint from there when we decide on a colour.

I went into the Dulux store in Darlington for the first time the other day. I was met with a lovely welcoming ?Good morning? from a guy on the counter and so very helpful. The lady sat behind the desk was very chatty and friendly. The quality of the paint was first class. A shop I will return to.

Good quality paint for whatever type of surface, get velspar paint mixed to any colour you bring in and show them, an old tin, a bit of old wallpaper with dried paint on, etc. Good paint if not a bit expensive, B&Q's own brand of paint has very low VOC (volatile organic compounds) for those of you who have problems with fresh paint and the chemical smells that come from them.
