I bought a Bosch mixer, they didn't have all the parts displayed on the shelf, after I brought it home and opened the box, it seemed to me to be made of very cheap plastic and could break very easily. I thought it wasn't worth the money, because it didn't give me confidence that it would last very long. I didn't use it. Only the box was open, and when I went to return it they said they wouldn't take the product anymore because the box was open. I don't shop at Currys often but they convinced me not to do it anymore! Argos and online it is much cheaper and have better customer service! never again curry's!

Purchased a laptop for our business ? the laptop itself works perfectly, no issues at all. However, the seller refused to provide a proper VAT receipt showing the VAT charged, despite being VAT-registered. This goes against UK VAT regulations. Quite surprised that a company like Currys wouldn?t follow basic legal requirements. Wouldn?t recommend for businesses who need a proper VAT receipt.

Terrible service. I ordered a Network unit costing more than £250. Payment was taken and I was told the unit would be delivered within 3 - 5 business days. After 1 week the unit had not been received so I called to the Darlington store and was told the unit was out of stock. They told me I could either wait until it was back in stock, or ask for a refund. I asked for a refund but after almost 1 month no refund was received and after contacting Curry's customer services (who are in South Africa) I was told that the order was never cancelled. What a disgraceful service. I will never buy a single item from Curry's ever again and in future will go to Argos.

Isn't the whole point of the shop so that the staff can help you? The staff here outnumber the customers but I couldn't get anyone to help me!

I have visited many times over the years. Parking available directly outside the shop. Staff have always been polite and helpful.

I only shop from this branch because the staff are excellent in customer service, have nice approach, and give the customers a enough time and ready to answer technical questions and provide advice. The staff members are the valuable value of this branch.
