Great place for anybody who likes exotic pets. We purchased my daughter's tortoise from here and the staff are all brilliant. We call in often to buy bits peices and look at the other animals available. Very knowledgeable staff who genuinely care about the animals welfare.

Really good customer service. Talked through the correct setup for the animals. Ended up getting an enclosure for a corn snake that came as a deal. With the tank, and heating. Later got a corn snake from here have had absolutely no issues he was healthy, never been bit as he was handled while being their and always eats.

I got two hermit crabs from the shop - they do take great care of the animals and the customers . The communication with them is so easy - best experience ! All the best guys as you do a great job !

To anyone looking at reviews, READ ALL OF MINE! These people are keeping snakes in incredibly tiny enclosures so small they cannot stretch out completely with absolutely no enrichment and no space for them to move around comfortably, it is a widely known rule that in keeping any live creature especially reptiles they must have enough space in their enclosures to stretch out fully and have some room left. I understand that you shouldn?t put young or small snakes into big enclosures when they aren?t ready however there was no excuse for the small size of these ?insect tanks? where the biggest creature anyone sane would put inside would be a couple stick insects or a large house spider regardless of how long they?re going to be kept in it, snakes showed stress behaviour and were super unsettled. Tarantulas also have very scarce enclosures. Inside of the store isn?t the cleanest or well upkept place with certain areas of the store having a strange smell and some tanks and vivs having holes in the sides or not being installed correctly. If you?re looking for somewhere to go with your kids for their reptile journey to begin or just wanting to buy from somewhere responsible and kind PLEASE go to the following instead!: knaesborough exotics rescue, aquatic finatics, seaham gardens reptiles and pets.
I DID NOT come in during a feeding day. The enclosures were NOT suitable even for the purpose the person who responded to my review with claimed they were in it for. Disgustingly bad excuse. Do better for reptiles please and DONT support this business

I love the shop. Stu Mel and Helen are eats friendly we csn have a rely good tslk and a laugh. There always very helpful with anything I need and if they don't have what I need they are happy to order it in for me. The selection of animals is awsome I have no problwm finding something I like. I always walk away a very hapoy man. And the kids love goin in to seeing all the different snakes spiders and Brian the Caimen

Came here from whitby for a drive out and to check some new places out that we've not been to before and I'm definitely glad I did.Seems a lovely clean shop with plenty of reptiles which are kept in lovely enclosures which all seem very clean and all have appropriate decoration,heating and lighting.The staff there today, the two ladies were lovely and very knowledgeable, what stood out most was the fact they promote the correct size enclosures for thier animals which they are selling which you don't always see in other pet shopsGreat experience ? ?
