I went in to CeX yesterday to get rid of my quest 2 and at the time I didn?t have it on me so I told them ?how much would I be able to sell my oculus quest 2 to u guys? and they said if u bring it in tomorrow then I could tell u the price, so I went in an hour ago with the quest 2 and I said ?u said to bring it Tomorrow? and they said ?oh yes let?s have a look? when I was getting it out one of the staff said sorry we can?t buy it off u, so I said ?why? they said ?because we don?t buy vr?s? even tho I saw them with another costumer with a vr and they gave her the money( with the exact quest 2)
Terrible staff, terrible service I would not recommend going to that awful store

Excellent customer service. Guy found the film after I looked for 10 minutes and he found it in 30 seconds. Would recommend the shop.

Responding to another review left by Danny Clayton regarding the broken Sonos speaker.
Kunal, from Cex has responded to this email advising to fill in a support form etc however we have already tried this and our concerns were completely disregarded. My email address was the registered address for this. We would be grateful if this could be investigated further, however as it stands we have been left with an unusable speaker due to damage during testing and have not been given any form of compensation for the damage. Any email correspondence regarding the matter has felt as though we have just been fobbed off.

I brought a speaker in to sell which was working absolutely fine, they ?tested? it and blew the fuse in the plug and on the PCB board and claimed it was already broken prior to bringing it in, but if that was the case it wouldn?t trip their system twice, there was clearly a power surge on whatever the test system is but and they won?t compensate for it, terrible store, terrible service

Sell faulty consoles games phones and more really annoyed as they charged me 12 or summit £ for a game that doesn?t work I think the should check closely to what there selling to people as it?s not right I feel like I?ve been scammed by these people at CEX Darlington put the disk in it got stuck and got to loading screen and then didn?t work after

Laughable. I went to trade in an n64, I dropped it off, an hour later asked what price he could do, said sorry, we're unable to buy it today, I asked "ok, do you know the reason why", "there's dust above the grill on the back. " I grabbed it, rubbed why index finger to clear the dust ( I thought I got rid of everything, it was really trivial as id already cleaned the part) cleaned it in front of him, took 1 pass and less the a second, stared at him, he looked sheepish, I walked out. If an iPhone cost £2, id still refuse to use these chancers.

Me and my family really enjoy visiting this shop and we buy from here quite often, the staff nearly always know everything to do with the media we are purchasing but we are sometimes provided with faulty or dysfunctional discs.
