Went to bank in Darlington and was closed for referbigment but nothing on the bank app or website about this thanks for wasting my time ( that I could of to used to sort stuff out)

I have to say the service can be patchy at best. In person at the branch they are helpful but since I opened a new account with the branch (moving from York) I've had multiple issues. With the latest one, I have just received an email threatening to unsubscribe me from Blue Rewards despite me paying my salary into the nominated account. This is unacceptable.

Bank was shut at 2:55pm.
At main entrance on High Row at Darlington .
It was not any medical accident at main entrance.
I would like to repeat again please check cctv cameras.And if you are sure that bank close the doors at 3pm than you have to check clocks in your bank/cameras etc.

I came to the bank at 2:55pm on Monday 27th January 2025 and the main doors were shut.
Bank working hours till 3pm is ridiculous how person who is working from 8am till 4pm can get to the bank???
Can also manager or someone check cameras at what time your staff is closing down the door?

No banking service on a Saturday when most customers are off work and needing counter service is completely useless.

Reduced hours so only open when at work, only day that I can call is Saturday, called Saturday 27th 11am to closed door supposed to be open till 3pm, someone was being let out of the door so asked why it was closed to be told it was due to a protest that was due in town and they were told yesterday about it , so was told by staff to use the post office absolutely shocking no prewarning of closure no sign on door to notify customers of why its closed

I have been with Barclays for over 20 years and the service was amazing however today (12/6/23 13:15) I went to the bank to get a replacement for my card. I seen two girls, one short, fat one and one tall. The short one was very rude to me and was racist. I asked for her name but she didn?t give me, she said she would give me from the bank.

I was very impressed with the customer service in this branch. Whilst I didn't need any of the services required by those leaving bad reviews, I needed guidance and found this readily available. People who did need attention appeared to get it readily from the friendly staff. Such a refreshing change. Thank you!

Well where do I start ...Been waiting long time to leave some kind of review but was hoping that this branch gets better, unfortunately not, there it goes then ...Today went and lady said we can only transfer 10k online abroad and there is and hour waiting time at least for someone to make this transfer for us, went to Middlesbrough instead and gentleman said you can make up to 50k online which was true, so please employ competent staff, but its not the first time something similar has happened , when we had our mortgage approved and found the house bank said they made mistake and we can not borrow that much but offered us £50 compensation lol asked them to keep their money and try look after customers better, there was more cases but no point dragging it over :) ah and opening times which we all know , especially people who own business and need counter service, You probably know the case!The only one good thing there is Mr Clive Richmond who goes beyond anything trying to help, he has never let us down with business and sometimes privet accounts advice!!
