Big Breakfast 40 mins before closing.
The good:
- Prepared and served by the dream team of Consett's own Kitt Harrington and the mysterious lady on the grill. Outstanding work!
- nice, thick bacon, 2 good eggs, perfect hash browns, decent pot of tea.
- everything seems clean, well ordered.
Less good:
- 'fun size' bangers (they were tasty)
- no tomatoes, mushrooms or black pudding.

As per usual, fantastic service, the big lad with the ginger beard was on his own, still managed to do four things at once, cheery and polite despite the workload, we?ll most definitely be back for more excellent breakfasts.

Sadly if the lady manager is not on duty the place seems to fall apart cold meals etc however the staff are always pleasant and friendly

Ok place, reasonable food. BUT. Ordered a fried egg and sausage. No toast came with them. Apparently, I had to pay for toast. Shame on you Tesco.

Food really poor and cold £26 for two breakfasts and two lattes you?d expect your food to hot and not barley warm.

I love visiting this cafe when I come to visit family, Beryl is outstandingly one of the best workers there, always smiling and bubbly, friendly and hard working. She?s the sole reason I will continue to visit the cafe.

On arrival at cafe was greeted by friendly member of staff. She offered to clean our table then continued to offer high standard of customer service throughout our visit. Will definitely be returning again as brought my out for treat & not many options for eating places after 3pm in our area. I would recommend to friends & family too ?Wheelchair accessibility: There is lift available for ?? wheelchair users & plenty space within cafe to move around & also toilets ? as its upstairs above the main supermarket

The staff are so friendly it's one of the things me and my friend have commented on this. Will visit again as the food is amazing aswell.
