I picked up my new glasses and prescription sunglasses yesterday. The man who served me was super informative and helpful. He also sorted my old glasses by shortening the leg, totally appreciated. Extra thanks for being patient with my rather inpatient 5 year old ?

Its a Laurel and Hardy sketch this shop.Where do I start. They do not answer the phones ever. After the optician tried to convince me ( then my wife straight after surprise surprise) I needed expensive varifocals. I declined and decided on buy one get one free distance and reading glasses 4 pairs. Phone call glasses are ready. Only two pairs with anti glare or some other nonsense sell up. Patiently I said lets get the order right. Week or so later 4 pairs three distance one reading. Ok one more time lets order another pair of reading glasses. Go into the shop oh they are here but the man who puts them out is off ( yeah right) Three weeks later two messages for the owner to call back and two missed calls with no message left on my phone. Called Specsavers HQ who are as much use a ashtray on a motorbike. Terrible

Went in to book an appointment today and was greated with a patronising staff member who accused my mam of answering for me but I don't like speaking to strangers as I'm autistic and struggle to communicate
