Matalan itself is fine.
The majority of the staff are lovely but I'm not impressed when the staff directing you to self check out always try to get you to enter your email address.
With 1 in particular recently telling me, and other customers that we needed to enter our email address before we started to scan items.
This is incorrect information and she was very rude.

Went into Matalan@ Consett & sales person Michelle was absolutely brilliant, I hate clothes shopping buy Michelle was very understanding & made my shopping experience at the Consett store a pleasure with advice & friendliness can't thank her enough & I will definitely come again

Changing rooms absolutely filthy, I went in but I cudnt take my shoes off as the floor was so dirty, never tried the dress on so I never bought it. Told the girl on the till who was really nice and apologised. I won't be rushing back.

Been in a retail park a toilet would have been a big asset had too come out of the shop and find a toilet at Morrisons opposite

A while since been here, but staff were so helpful & friendly. Didn't have size in jeans I was after (not their fault), but came out with a sports top,! Lots of clothes on sale at moment. Plenty of parking around store,
