Wouldn't have even given 1 star! Lost my order and then basically laughed at me for showing dissatisfaction. Where's the customer service?! Was their fault for losing my order. Absolutely disgusting service. Will never go back here.

Although there is a return policy on the website the store doesn't accept this is the case. Their system states different so I am left with a faulty product?

I went to this store at 12.30 this afternoon, I don't usually go to Consett as I'm from Northumberland. I have to say the lady and gentleman were so pleasant and friendly it was such a nice experience.

The female member of staff refused to give us my order. I ordered it about 4 days ago and went to pick it up yesterday 3 days til xmas. My partner (30 years old!) had valid ID, As a UK citizenship card is legally considered valid proof of age and photo ID. She seemed glad about refusing to accept the ID, I don't know if she has never seen a citizenship card before but it felt like she has a problem with him being a UK citizen? but for whatever reason she was oddly happy about stopping us from getting this Christmas gift on time.We don't live close to Argos about 20 minutes away so I've cancelled the order and picked it up from curry's instead, same day and same price. Happy Christmas ?

Car park just a minute away. This Argos is always clean and staff are friendly. I?ve never waited more than 5 minutes for my order and always use click and collect. My only complaint is the Argos policy to try and sell you extras such as insurance or warranty. If I wanted that I would have already bought it. But the staff have to do their job so it?s not their fault and it?s east to just say no. I?ll always use this branch as it?s so handy.

Staff are rude & don?t have knowledge about their own return policy or uk statutory rights. Rude lady on the till with a shocking attitude towards customers at 4.55pm 28th June 2023 very dark hair very miserable face. Not customer friendly nor complaint friendly to a a faulty item being returned with in less than 24hrs

Perfectly fine argos. Just get sick of all the questions re trying to sell you extras. Also not the easiest to get parked nearby to when busy.

Use this shop at your peril. Rude in adequate staff and the manager is a......I will note say here.However I have so little respect....again I?ll not say. Dreadful service, dreadful people.Stay clear and have a happier life.

Used to buy loads from this Argos but since lockdown next to nothing available for delivery to DH8 or for click and collect! Ordered a 50" TV picked it up but took it back within half an hour as was too big for our unit to be told they didn't take returns! I asked if they would pick it up but NO. Informed us that we would have to take it to the Arnison Centre. I pointed out to staff my wife and I are pensioners and also during lockdoen it was agsinst the law to make an unnecessary journey but that didn't matter to them. By the wsy there was snow and ice on the roads. We took it back and ordered from Curry's. Awful experience after spendibg thousands in this shop. Will think twice in future!
