Have been looked after a couple of times previously very professionally.
On this occasion,I went back to see if they could offer a repair to my wife's pair of glasses that she bought for 180£ pack in January.I was very disappointed to hear that they could not offer an actual repair to the faulty pair of glasses.
I was asked for 45 £ to put a new frame?
1.very disappointing to have a fault like that so soon , it shows the cheap materials used and cheap manufacture.
2.only offer was 45£new frame.
Again ...disappointing

Specsavers are excellent at chester le street I mentioned a change in my eyes she made sure she covered every aspect to check she took her time and was polite and patient

*Update* Ross from customer services kindly got in touch with me regarding my review. He was extremely lovely and understanding on the phone. He explained that he had ammended their system so this can not happen again and he expressed apologies to me. Due to my losses of fuel and a parking ticket, he kindly offered me 30 free contact lenses which was very much appreciated.
Got a courtesy call before my appointment to let me know that my appointment was still going ahead. Got there for 6pm, the time i booked and was told I wouldn?t actually be able to have my appointment because they closed in 30 minutes and wouldn?t be able to actually teach me how to put the lenses (not really sure why they have an appointment able to be booked at 6pm if unable to actually complete the services) - The lady also proceeded to ask me if I ?actually needed glasses?..

I've always gone to this branch and still do even though I live further now, because they are such a friendly and welcoming team. A relaxed environment that never seems too busy when I go. The staff never try to rush me, always take time to listen and make sure my needs are met. Their knowledge is great. Thankyou!

Visited the Specsavers in Chester Le Street last week and found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. Very comfortable environment and a great selection of reasonably priced frames. The staff member I dealt with was very knowledgable and really helpful with the questions I had about my prescription and issues I?d been experiencing with dry eyes. So many great specs to choose from, but I ended up going for these - great solid pair of glasses with a smashing coating on to help with glare. Would highly recommend this branch - thank you!
