Ate here had two sets of potato skins, a calzone, and a pizza. We didn?t eat one set of potato skins the reason being the potato was raw we showed the manager he took it away and didn?t address it. The pizza was taken away and the front of house staff asked if we wanted it boxed up, we said no and she just shrugged it off. The reason the pizza was not touched was the pizza base was wet like imagine a wet sock with a hint of tomato covered in veg, quite flavourless and was not great at all. At no point throughout eating did we get checked up on in relation to the food. I was sat without a drink for half the meal as no one came up to check if I wanted another drink. I went up to pay as no one brought the bill over and mentioned the two plates we sent back out of 4 and she said I?m sorry about that and shrugged it off. Only eat here if you like sloppy socks.

My potato skins were raw and looked like they were dirty, as well as my pizza being wet and having no flavour. No staff asked if everything was alright, seeing almost all of my food had been left and when we brought it up to the front of house staff, they just shrugged it off.

We held our son's Christening celebration in Sambuca's private room. The staff were very helpful throughout the booking process and on the day. They couldn't do enough for us and ensured the day ran smoothly. The food was gorgeous and replenished as and when to ensure it was hot and fresh. We would highly recommend and would like to thank you again!

All good except that the chicken meals are not cooked in the relevant sauce . It?s all ?. Chicken with a sauce poured over the top . Very tasty but not genuine

It?s safe to say sambucas Chester Le street is absolutely fantastic. Me and my partner moved into pelton this year and honestly can?t stay away. It?s our 4 year anniversary today and we had to come here. Only to find out they have a secret menu? if you go ask for the sharing platter (thank me later) greatest scran in the north east. Alex is mint crack great recommendations on food and an all round nice lass.

Just had a delivery of 2 pizzas one was a calzone a very old favourite of mine the best one I ever had was from Marco polo on grey street when I worked there back on the 80s and i can truly say these guys just matched it hand on heart it was bloody fantastic and to top it off they sent FREE profiteroles which were mouth watering thank you so much I will be a very regular customer ?

I was served by Alisha who was so kind and helpful. She recommended the avocado prawn cocktail that was on the specials board. It was delicious and refreshing. The staff I spoke to were very positive and made it a great dining experience.

Went Saturday afternoon was a nice vibe. Staff were fantastic and the food was ? two starters and two main meals with a Pepsi and white wine was under 40 pound too!

It was a Monday so it was quiet but felt the service wasnt great and very slow, my mam had to ask for a clean wine glass three times, and my cousin waited nearly 15 minutes for his drink. There were only three tables in the entire restaurant with people on, so waiting around for food and drinks was not acceptable. The food was nice but you do get what you pay for and the wine wasn't as expected. We felt like we were being watched when it got close to closing time of 9 pm although we actually left at 8:40. Don't think we will go back.
