Where do I start with this shambles.. My autistic son is trying to get HIS MONEY!!! out of his child trust fund Transferred to lloyds (a decent helpful bank) and no help at all even with all the proof we have including doctors letters his bank card and letter off lloyds I even went up to lloyds and got a printout of his account for them and that's not proof, letters off his specialist. I have had to spend two hours plus ringing the dwp to get proof and more time chasing his college for written proof and getting lloyds to send out a statement which im still waiting for.Were not impressed at all and after we get his money transferred I will never use the nationwide ever again.Stick with lloyds and avoid at all costs.

My god, what a horrible experience with terrible attitudes from both staff members! The person who greeted me at the door seemed rather put-out that I didn't want to pay a cheque into the ATM and made it known that she was put-out. There wasn't anyone else waiting for counter service so I didn't ?see the issue. The branch was completely empty!The counter clerk had an awful attitude and started lecturing me that my current account was online based and that it isn't designed for branch service access. I have never heard such a crock of baloney and insult to my intelligence. I doubt it's even mentioned in the T&C's relating to my current account! I've been in many branches (since opening the account several years ago) and never once have I been told such nonsense or treated like this.The employees who served me this afternoon are a disgrace to Nationwide and should be sent on some kind of intense customer care refresher course.

Love the nationwide in Chester le street the staff are amazing and have continued to be amazing all the way through the pandemic still trying there hardest to do the best for everyone through this current hard time
