First class surgery from doctors to receptionists always helpful

Trying to get through on the phone in the morning is non existent. Says it opens at 8am. Yet you call and it still saying they are closed until after 8:30? no option to an book e consult on nhs app saying it?s not offering the service. How are people meant to get treatment when they can?t even get through to the surgery?

This is one of the best surgeries I have been a patient at. They are a busy surgery and yes when I ring up I will be in a queue but I don?t think that?s any different to any other surgeries. Medical staff are proactive and my issues are either resolved at appointment or I?ve been referred/signposted. I have had some telephone appointments which have worked ok and again issues resolved. I?ve only been with the practice a few month and I?m already having to move. When I moved here I was told that non of my information from my old GP had been moved over. I understand that?s not their fault and I?ve been willing to work with them to tell them my issues, but physical and mental, which has been incredibly difficult to say the least.At first they were ok, done a couple referrals here and there, but those referrals fell through, again, I get it, the NHS is stupidly busy and severely under staffed. But the last straw was on a recent referral I needed to go back on tablets I take for PCOS. I needed blood tests done to make sure I was ok to continue them, but when I went in, the nurse said ?so this is for kidney issues.? I tried telling her no but she wouldn?t have it, once done she gave the whole ?no news is good news? speech, that was 3 weeks ago. I?ve tried calling the GP, doing e-consults the works, but nothing. My cries for help have been falling on deaf ears, and once again, my mental health is at an all time low.I understand the NHS is struggling, but so are its patients.Side note, having to call for same day appointments doesn?t work. The phones lines are jammed and when you can eventually get through, all the appointments are gone.

Getting through on the phone is an absolute nightmare! Held in a queue for 3 hrs and 7 mins one day and 1 hr and 9 mins the following day....still didn't get through!!! Going to have to go in person. Staff and Drs are great when you can get in touch but trying to phone in is abysmal hence the one star. This issue really needs addressing!

The assistance I've had here has been canny bad, rude, and unprofessional, half of them prescribed me stuff that made me seriously ill and the rest effectively denied me treatment. No it isn't in my head. There are red flags at best with some of them here like asking invasive questions, withholding information,l etc.I'm already going through my own medical issues and it's just not good.

Brilliant practice, think people forget the pressures in the current health service! I used to be with cestria years ago and then moved area and they were brill then! Just came back to the surgery after moving back. Rang late morning and GP rang me back later in the afternoon! Doctor was brilliant - excellent practice :)

Had reason to arrange to speak/see a doctor last week. Experience was the best & the worst!!!On the phone for 42 minutes till my turn came round. Spoke to Receptionist & explained my symptoms & following a chat with a doctor & medical student, she said I could be seen an hour later. This is the best!! big thanks for this, a five star rating, but one star for phone delay, hence 3 stars

Really, really terrible. I?ve been phoning for a week multiple times a day to get results and every time results lines has been closed, even within the hours they claim to be open. For general reception I?ve been waiting on hold for up to 40 minutes, still not able to speak to anyone.I hate complaining online, as the doctors and nurses are wonderful. But this isn?t a sustainable way to run a surgery and it?s been happening for ages. There are complaints are far back as A YEAR ago making the exact same complaint I?m making.If there was any other way to make my dissatisfaction known, I would. But I can?t get through to speak to anyone and there?s no email! Incredibly disappointing and frustrating service at a time when you?re looking for peace of mind.This isn?t the first time it?s happened and I?ve cut them slack as we?re all overworked and over tired. But truly - this week has been the worst. I work during surgery hours as I?m sure many do and don?t have time to sit on the phone for 40 minutes. Really upsetting.

This place has to be one of the worst doctors surgeries in the country, whenever you call you are always 8 or above in the queue. Which goes through options like making an appointment then after you have waited for no less than 40 minutes they tell you to call on the morning of the day you want an appointment and even then we will see if a telephone appointment will do. Why don?t doctors see patients anymore? These are the people who are payed by how many people are on the books! Why can?t we see a doctor or make an appointment for next week.

Lost a form with personal information on for myself and daughter and was blasé just asked to complete another.Can't get through on the phone and as my daughter is disabled and needs medication and as can't speak to them need to go in and order. An hour and a half it takes to get through yet no phones ring inside the surgery!!!Referral from hospital for a wet room which was not actionedNo availability for appointments. Since joining there's been Constant confusion with medication that my daughter needs to function. Asked repeatedly for confirmation of what has been issued yet can't be supplied but the prescriptions have the wrong reissue date on but!
