I will never use Kwikfit again.
You need a real mechanic who will treat you like a human and do their best to help you out if your car fails it's MOT on minor issues like bulb replacement.
They could not even remove a panel to change a bulb as it's Kwikfit policy and they could not do any work that day regardless leaving me totally in the lurch with an illegal motor and unable to get to work the next day.
So what's the point of Kwikfit ?
I found a local garage who took pity on me and fitted me in that day, did the work which took no time at all and re MOT'd at my request. Very fair charges.
Car passed and lesson learned.
Go to a real mechanic who does their utmost to see you right and appreciates your custom.
This is the 2nd time Kwikfit have failed me but it will be the last.
Kwikfit? More like Kwikfail.

Called in on the off chance they could tell me if the fuse had blown because both dipped headlights were not working. They explained they were not auto electricians but had a look at the fuse diagram but like me, couldn't find the correct fuse so signposted me to the local auto electrician round the corner. They could have just turned me away, but they helped as much as they could. Much appreciated. Thank you.

Took my car for a brake check as my brakes was squeaking and was told that I needed new pads and discs all round at the cost of over £700! I didn?t have the time to leave it with them to do it that day so I left. I got a mobile mechanic out the following week to do the change for nearly half the price and I could have it done while sitting at home. The mechanic after he took the first wheel off knocked on my door and told me why I was asking for my brakes to be changed as there was absolutely nothing wrong with either my pads or discs. He checked all the wheels, did a general clean up and grease and the brakes have stopped! This place is an absolute disgrace and just ripping off customers!!! Avoid at all costs!!!
