“I try to always buy fuel here. I was there the day an elderly man took ill on the forecourt and the Morrisons petrol station came out and helped him. Asda can't do this with their unmanned station.”

“I used an App to find the cheapest fuel and this was the cheapest, but I was expecting to have a small version of the shop to go in and pay for the fuel like most large stores have, so I wasn't best pleased to arrive and find no small store to go in and pay, as it meant pay at pump was the only option.The first thing that came to mind was the nightmare stories of having £100 marked against the card, but I didn't know the area and it would take too much time to find an alternate station, so I bit the bullet and filled up, the pump had the warning about card's being placed with a hold being placed on it, but you had to take a minute and take in what was on the pump to see it.I don't know how long it was before the hold was removed, but by the time we went into the main store there were 2 notices from my bank which were a bit alarming as it was my first time using that pump system, as it said I had spent £99 and then the amount I actually put in the tank, but when I checked my bank later on when I got to where I was going there was only the amount I actually put in the tank that had been taken.So I can see why so many people are not happy with this method, especially if like most they don't have that sort of money to do it, I can't imagine them getting fuel then going shopping only to find they can't pay for it as the hold was locking up money that you depended on for the shopping, the embarrassment they must feel is not right all because of not being able to use the money just because it wasn't freed up in time, I can only guess the time my money was locked for was not that long given the 2 amounts I saw from my bank App, but it was my first time so I have no idea if other places are as quick or not, but in my case it turned out ok, but it's not an option I would use if I could pay at a till”

“…a handy gas station for local shopping and good opening hours where you can really find everything we need in our lives, cash machine, PayPoint, The National Lottery, Costa coffee machine, good range of the best quality fresh vegetables, items for general household consumption, alcoholic beverages, wine, spirits, soft drinks and refrigerated products for sale and even more than we could imagine, and the staff is very friendly and helpful ☺️”

Today I have noticed an elderly man struggling with a flat tier it was (dark outside)and I try to help him but,I'm a woman,so I didn't know much about hoq to changing a car tier?, but Stephen (Asda's trolley organiser) came to the rescue along with Phil (Asda's Cleaner) . Big well done for this two members of staff ?.”

The staff member was very helpful giving me more details if I need to call again. Filled my vehicle and was very friendly, highly recommend and a bonus the fuel was cheapest in the area.”
