My husband and I visited today for the second time. Once again we loved it. From the freshly cooked bacon and egg muffin to the pot of great tea. I love the mis-matched crockery. The staff are super. The gift shop is wonderful. Best of all was Becky who was so so friendly. She chatted and gave us some useful information about the area. What an asset she is. Thankyou everyone. Will see you again when we are back in the area.

The staff were exceedingly friendly and courteous. The delightful decorations truly evoked a sense of stepping back in time. It was disappointing that my poached egg was overcooked, and that the full breakfast included only one sausage and one rasher of bacon.

Visited Dec ?24. Busy but still 30 minute wait for 2 coffees. Main complaint however is that it was not very clean. Cute vintage condiment sets on table with grease and dried gunk on them. No excuse I?m afraid for that. I?m not easily put off but this was worth the truth to be told

Chanced upon this place today and couldn?t have loved it more. Great fresh food, lovely atmosphere and team and well priced gift shop with some unusual items. Will definitely return
