I can?t recommend Dowen Estate and Lettings Agents in Bishop Auckland enough. From start to finish, Lisa and Thomas were absolutely excellent. This was my first time purchasing a property, and they made the whole process seamless ? honestly an absolute treat to deal with.
They always looked out for me, kept me updated whenever I needed, and were ready to take my calls and answer any questions (and trust me, I had plenty!). Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, and they made what could have been a stressful experience into something straightforward and even enjoyable.
Both Lisa and Thomas are incredibly professional, upfront, and honest ? but more than that, they?re just genuinely good people who care about their clients. I can?t sing their praises highly enough. If you?re buying a house anywhere near Bishop Auckland, I?d recommend them completely.

I chose Dowens over other estate agents in the area as the branch manager believed in our property - it?s value of what it had to offer and it?s price. His enthusiasm and that belief really stayed throughout. Other estate agents would lean to a quicker sale tactic or may have larger teams to offer updates at every turn, but I didn?t feel they were enthusiastic about the property itself I was selling which is what I was looking for.

My experience with this branch of Dowens Estate Agents, was First Class. There was one lady in particular, Lisa who had excellent communication skills, nothing was a bother for her and she did the upmost to help every time i contacted the office :)
