We stayed here overnight to go to a wedding at Runa Farm. Great central location, very cosy feel. Lovely breakfast, great staff, would recommend. Taxi rank just round corner at Morrisons, if needed.

My self and my husband booked for a couple of nights, our room was in an annex and was clean and comfortable, our first night meals were good fish and chips and gammon and chips tasty and good quality, we decided to go into the restaurant for the second night, but decided on the upgraded menu!! Quite honestly the two meals we were served were atrocious!! Totally disappointed the lamb was bloody and cold? I sent it back to the kitchen and was told by the staff that lamb is a pink meat ( I?ve been cooking for 50 years and definitely know when a meat is raw and cold the dauphinois potatoes we?re frozen, my husband?s meal was just as bad fillet steak very small and chips that was all bits , the price of the meals was over £70 , I asked the young waiter to relay our opinion of this bad meal that we waited for over an hour for!! And he said he wouldn?t of paid the price for it!! We did pay but didn?t leave a tip definitely won?t be back after this bad experience totally spoiled our break away, no one was at reception this morning to leave our bad reviewsWalkability: Close to shops and restaurants

We use the Three horse shoes often living in the town our first time today for Sunday lunch, food was amazing service was above and beyond especially as it was so busy ,we will definitely be adding Sunday to our visiting

Lovely food in the evening, and also at breakfast. Room was ideal. Comfy, with tea and coffee facilities. Would definitely recommend.
