Food is usually very good and I've eaten there on a number of occasions.
BUT do not have the pasta Bolognese, my meal was cool, dry and had no sauce and very little mince.
I had to return the meal and pick another option on the menu. No quibbles but unnecessary if the
Chef knew how to cook Bolognese.

This place gets very busy weekends bank hols or any day the sun is shining. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS AN OVERFLOW CAR PARK if you continue through to the right which gives three times the space and continues alongside the road. NO NEED TO BLOCK UP THE ROAD AND THE ENTRANCE!!!

Very disappointed at the Ham, egg and chips. One slice of Ham. Looked quite lonely on the plate. Come on Pamphill. 2 slices would give you a happy customer.

I went to this cafe today and can honestly say I had the best Cheese Scone I have ever had in my life! I would go back for more every say if I could. And the chutney was lovely too.

An excellent place for a tasty lunch with brilliant and personal service. I visit most weeks with my parents and am always met with smiles and staff going above and beyond. Very convenient parking with so much else to enjoy on site too, congratulations to Seb and the team for doing what they do, if I could give you six stars then I would ?

We love this popular cafe, great friendly atmosphere and excellent fast service. Sit in or out (dog friendly outside too).Parking: There are busy times but I have never been unable to park.

Have been here many times before but they have a daft new system. I was part of two families who came to have lunch yesterday and we ended up leaving without being able to buy lunch which is bananas. We queued for 10mins to use the new ?take away? to be told they didn?t have any food - apart from crisps and ice creams. So we went to the cafe to get a sit down lunch - were greeted by a rope to stop us coming in and a pretty unfriendly host who told us they were full. When I asked if we could get some food to eat outside he told me no. I explained the ?take away? was empty and he just said ?we don?t serve food there? - erm??!! The menu there says it should have usage rolls and sandwiches etc. So three very hungry and grumpy kids later we ended up just going back to one of our houses. This seems nuts when the cafe is chocked full of food and there were tonnes of free tables outside. The system just seems really silly and the staff were not friendly or helpful. We used to love this place but it just seems hostile now!

What can I say, a lovely place to stop at for lunch. Had a lovely welcome with a choice of where to sit. Service and food was great, with friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Stopped by The Parlour Cafe as our usual Sunday staple Full English venue The Anchor in Shapwick was closed and i must say how impressed i was. The Parlour breakfast (full english) was awesome, lovely sausages, hash browns the best i have ever tasted and that black pudding (an extra but well worth it) was amazing, lovely atmosphere and very happy and helpful staff. My wife had the English Muffin (basically Eggs Benedict) and said the poached eggs were delicious. it was all very reasonably priced too which is a bonus. I simply couldnt fault it 10/10 The Anchor may have to share us now... :D
