Very happy with the service and my experience with Dorset Sports Cars whilst purchasing a Jaguar XK. They were helpful with arranging to collect me from the train station on the day I collected my car from the dealership. They also fitted an upgrade of the exhaust and arranged delivery of the old one plus made the plates for a personalised number for the car... above and beyond.Very professional and helpful, recommended... Fantastic service at Dorset cars. the team couldn't have been more pleasant. They gave great advise and information, The jag I bought was a gift for my husband and it was prepped and ready for when we picked it up looking immuculate. When we got it home there was a warning light on the car but Dorset cars team very quickly resolved the problem - service was fantastic. The car is in great condition exactly as described. This is my second vehicle from Dorset Sports Cars, frankly I won't be going anywhere else, my 1st car was a nice little Audi A3, cracking little car but just a little small for me so I've now purchased a stunning BMW 4 series, the service level is second to none outstanding in my opinion, I have to mention Clint makes you feel at ease never puts you under pressure to buy a car, he is a petrol head at heart and knows his stuff and a nice bloke, if you are looking for a nicely presented and prepared car pay them a visit, I highly recommend Dorset Sports Cars.

Just had the Tesla MoT?d by Dorset Sports Cars. Never quite sure where to go for these things as the M3 is a little bit tricksy regards parking brakes, and regen which can trip up standard tests. Pleased to find they?ve done an honest job at a reasonable price. Some nice eye candy to look at whilst waiting too.I need a garage I can count on, and feel I may have found it. My other car is a year older than the GT40 and they?ve earned my trust to take her.

Absolutely brilliant service from Clint and the team. No pressure sale and the after care has been excellent: there was a small sensor replacement required, which they organised and then sorted, picking up the car and delivering it back. They really worked hard to make sure the whole thing fitted in with my requirements. I?m really pleased with the car itself. Initially it was a pleasurable experience, Buying a beautiful F-Type Jag all shiny & flash.That was until things started going wrong & the rest of the experience turned out to be a case of buyer beware.As with any used car, 2014, 70+k miles it isn't unreasonable that something unforeseen could go wrong. That was not the issue however.The car was supplied with an RAC warranty, whom i was directed to when i first notified Dorset Sports Cars of an issue.On the initial inspection it was found that a plastic manifold had split, the water pump was defective as was the oil cooler.There was slight concern shown when i reported the issue to DSC, but i was simply instructed to call RAC warranties as that was what it was there for. RAC directed me to a VAT registered garage & the work was commenced.In hindsight, had DSC taken ownership of this and not bounced me on to RAC & continued to remain hands off throughout the diagnosis & repair process, i may still have had the car that i so loved.Following the initial repairs i notified the finance provider what had happened, i was then challenged by DSC for making a complaint to the finance provider. What i had done was make the finance company aware of an issue, just in case of any other issue later on. Experience of business's avoiding responsibilities taught me to cover all angles if things start going wrong. they did, they went so very wrong.The RAC warranty would only cover part payment, i was liable to pay, the bill was well in excess of £1,000 and i was told to pay it & claim it back, not unreasonable but unfortunate when i only had the car around 8 weeks.DSC did refund me the difference from what RAC warranties covered, and apart from the unfortunate issue needing fixed it was a neutral experience neither great or terrible at this point.The repairs unfortunately were unsuccessful, the car continued to have issues. Later proven to be present &/or developing at point of sale, something that DSC failed to accept even with an independent engineers report as requested by them in order to accept their legal liability under Consumer law.The car was taken to another more specialist garage for a second opinion. Having already been left with no direction other than use a VAT registered garage the first time, the more expensive outlay for a specialist could have been a better option? It might have been prudent for DSC to recommend a garage & provide assurance that the defects / failures would not be a cost made liable to me.A second diagnostic inspection confirmed that the super charger was ready to explode & i should not drive the car for risk of it being sucked into the engine (I had even remarked that it was noisy to DSC before there was any other fault - to be told in writing its mechanical & they are noisy - total disregard).An independent engineer appointed by the finance company inspected & provided a detailed report confirming the presence of faults that were present &/or developing at point of sale & furthermore highlighted bodywork repairs that were carried out to a poor standard. The evidence was reported by an accredited & experienced professional all of which i am not.Thankfully I followed due process and the complaint was upheld by the finance company. The case was extremely strong, yet DSC remained defiant in accepting responsibility. Fortunately legal proceedings were avoided.I no longer have the car, the finance provider rejected the vehicle, collected it, reversed the agreement & i have decided to buy my next car from Arthur Daly instead.Hopefully anyone reading this may benefit from my experience.
