customer service is great, the staff very friendly and the shelf?s are always fully stocked? love the lay out of the shop as well and very clean and easy to find items. Serf service or tills. Club card at great price.

Unfortunately, the lady at your tills took the side of a queue jumper over me, even after she observed that I had been standing in queue longer than him.
Apparantly I was standing in the wrong area to be in queue (right in front of the till), though there was no sinage and she didn't bother telling me until she begun serving the queue junper.
She then very condescendingly said "now it's your turn" when she did serve me.
Looking back, I wish I didn't bite my tongue and but the items from you (more fool me), but I'll be sure to shop elsewhere now due to your abhorrent customer service.

My oh my ,your staff in tesco express st Thomas street cigarette counter need training on customer service, this afternoon rude is not the word but this lady needs training on how to speak to customers!!!! And my husband said she's always speaks to people like that !!

When I worked for Tesco, we were told that being the face of the company as we are the ones speaking with the customers.
I'm guessing this training wasn't done here, to the woman who was rude behind the tobacco counter. You saw we were queuing where a natural line would start and where it does in 90% of shops across the country. Waited until we proceeded to move forward to be served to speak to us with an attitude, " You're meant to que that way " didn't say sod all to the person she served just before us who we followed.
In our defense, why would we que along the counter where another till is placed.
Next time learn how to speak to customers, if you was my member of staff in my business, you would be out on your arse for the disgusting attitude, was it because we were young or is it because you are a nasty human being.

It's a local Tesco express and is just that. The staff are always polite and will fill your needs as required. I will say this though ! The Tills are hopeless. Cash only is pay at the kiosk and the place ain't designed for queuing like that when they can only use one door thanks to the robbing shop lifters that plaque the store.

Disgraceful I mention the name of the lady next time awful experience went on Fri 30th around 14.20 hrs was on the till to pay for my items was made to wait although I was first in the queue as the lady start serving other customer first worst experience I just left the bag n went off ,never will I visit again but only to click the photo n post it ,worst customer service I ever seen ,its bcoz we are Asian I guess..

One of my favourite Tesco Express stores. Plenty of choice. Cheap prices. It even has checkouts!! Would recommend.

To all Tesco Metro customers, l went in this store to put a winning ticket in for a 2 pound win, l asked the lady on customer service if l could have ( before l could say any more she said very rudely stop l can only do one thing at a time this totally took me back because she was so rude. ) so l decided to finish with could l have 2 more cards please, with that she said l have already told you that l can only do one thing at a time, now l would not have minded if she was asking me politely but she was so unpleasant and nasty the way she spoke to me, l told her l was a customer and not to be spoken like I that, l did make a complaint to the manager and he said he would have a word with her but to be honest she should not be on that desk if she doesn?t know how to speak to customers. Hopefully this very unpleasant woman will need to be trained in good customer service before she unleashes her anger on anyone else.
