As Abbey National they were voted the worst bank in the UK for 10 years on the trot, Banco Santander were at the same time voted the worst bank in Spain for 20 years, so I wouldn't expect too much from them

I would leave no stars but that isn't possible. I visited this branch to try and reactivate my account only to be turned away the first time. I then visited a week later as it was impossible for me to visit due to my working hours. They did something good in reactivating my account but I was told that in 11 days I would receive a card I did not receive one at all. I then had to spend 45 minutes on the phone trying to get hold of my new card and answer all the same questions over again.

Disgraceful counter staff member, rude, incompetent and immature. Office staff are pleasant luckily. Avoid if you can!

Rude and patronising. I should be grateful that the member of staff is not having lunch until 3 now and has moved her day around as I have walking in asking for help .... ? how dare I?! So rude.

Today my parents went to use the bank to pay in and get change the 2 girls at the desk were so rude my mother left in tears. They told her if she wants change go to the post office.... Even though they are a bank... They were rude m blunt unhelpful and curt. no customer service what so ever.

I visit the branch every week and find the staff polite and patient, whilst at the same time dealing with customers as quickly as possible. As a regular visitor, I am for the best part recognised and greeted in a friendly manner. My personal experience has been one of total satisfaction.

Looked on the web site for this branch for opening time 10am-2pm Monday to Saturday. Arrived at the branch at 12:25 only to be greeted by a locked door and a very rude lady telling me to move to one side as they close at 12:30. I tried to explain to her the web site says 2pm but she rudely insisted the web site was undated and states 12:30. I think this very rude lady needs to go on customer training courses or not deal with customers at all.

Surprised to read others' poor reviews. I have nothing but praise for this bank and the staff in the Weymouth branch. They have always been excellent and helpful. When I did have a problem (a mistake which could have cost me money) they rectified it straight away. Highly recommended.
