Food was good. Ladies toilets avoid ended up walking out, one had toilet paper all over the floor and the other one was wet all over the floor and the door handle was very sticky

Lovely little gem. Staff were very attentive and smiley. Food came hot and delicious. Will definitely be back.

We had a long walk along the coastal path, so by the time we got there we were starving and really looking forward to a good meal. The menu looked fabulous, but sadly the food didn?t live up to it. My burger bun was burnt, the chicken was just okay, the salad left much to be desired, there was no onion, and the fries - advertised as rosemary salted - were barely warm and completely lacking flavour.
On top of that, the tables were mucky and most were covered in empty glasses, as nobody seemed to be clearing them away.
Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience for our first meal in Weymouth. Such a shame.

The food was so disappointing, it sounded delicious on the menu but I was very disappointed with the pre frozen food drowned in bitter sauce, the skin on fries was Lukewarm, it said on the menu served with Rosemary and salt but I didn't get any Rosemary
Very pricey for what you get
I might as well have gone to Iceland and did this at home!!
We won't be coming back again!

Always a go-to pub when we visit Weymouth. Great selection of drinks, freindly staff and nice atmosphere sorting outside watching the world go by.
Love the draft selection of thatchers ciders when it's a warm one!
Plenty of outside seating and accessible for wheelchair users.
Would highly recommend.

Asked for rare steak, recieved well done it was cremated. Ordered desserts and waited over an hour, turns out they forgot about them even after us reminding the servers every 10 minutes. After having finally received them they had run out of the desserts we had actually wanted because of their mistake and gave us desserts worth £2 less each than we ordered.
Terrible service, will absolutely not be back again. Awful.

We booked a table for 4 online, when we arrived our table was reserved and available, we sat down and had to wipe the table down as it was sticky. We ordered our drinks via the app, after about 15mins of waiting I asked a member of staff if he knew when I drinks would arrive, he said he would check and return 5mins later with our drinks. I then ordered 4 meals again using the app (the app stated waiting time was 20mins for food) after waiting for 45mins, I approached the bar, (this was covered in about 40 used glasses waiting to be washed) I checked on our food to be advised or would be delivered to our table straight away (and it was)
*The 8oz gammon was cooked well, but hadn't been left to rest before plating so all the juices made the chips extremely soggy, the peas were hard.
*The Mac and cheese dish was ok,
* The Scampi and chips (scampi was overcooked)
*The fish and chips was disappointing, considering we are by the harbour, unfortunately the fish was not very nice, mushy fish and tasteless
The one and only waitress/food runner asked how our food was, I said it was mediocre at best, she didn't understand so asked me to repeat , so I did, she just stared at me, so I said the food is basic, she then frowned and walked away like it was my problem.
They seemed under staffed, 2 behind the bar and one waitress/food runner as the glasses on the bar and tables that had used plates on from previous guests.
The tap in the ladies was broken, and the toilets needed a good clean,
Would we return?
For food definitely not, which is a shame, as we use to eat here a lot, but the quality has good down hill.
For drinks, yes but won't use the app to order.

Never had problems here before came Christmas one year booked dinner time 2 o?clock ordered on app no Sunday roast left at half one had to order of main menu waited over 1 and a half ours for food to arrive hunters chicken well dry and sauce burnt to dish not very impressed think twice about coming again

Ordered 4 Sunday roasts and 2 burgers. Waited for over an hour and half of the things on the roast dinner was missing. Things were very plain, bland and missing on the burgers - bbq burger but no bbq. Veg and taters hard, not fresh and mostly missing. No yorkshires or pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese. Poor waitress left on her own dealing with many unhappy customers.

We booked a table . The atmosphere was nice. But...... my food was shocking! I chose two starters. Chicken stripes which were meant to be tossed in BBQ sauce. The were in a metal raining with a drizzle of sauce. No presentation/ dressing. I also ordered red pepper hummus. It had the appearance of mushed carrot baby food and not taste. I ordered extra bread and the waitress offered butter, when it didn't come we followed to be told there was no butter. They did refund the cost of extra bread but no redress for the poor quality hummus. Asda own hummus tastes better. Very disappointing, as a local not sure I want to eat there again. On a positive, waitress was pleasant and my friend enjoyed her hunters chicken.

Went past year nothing changed basically you have clean the tables yourself never get drunk there can't get served quick enough waited 20 minutes for some guy change the lemonade for the wife and they have me the wrong beer ps ifthe bar staff don't want work there go do something else not customer friendly won't be going again
