Its England's version of 7-11 here in Portland, UK...
Super friendly staff, lots of England branded candy, drinks and snacks... an inexpensive option if you need common toiletries or other convenience store offerings...
If you're traveling from a cruise ship, take the free shuttle from Portland UK and get off at the SECOND stop in the town... the free shuttle runs every ten minutes from where it drops you off for easy return...

Love this shop. Its great for what you need if you forgot something. The cakes are amazing and the staff are so nice.

Brought a one pound slush puppy for my 6 year old and he dropped it outside the front door of the shop. Went back in with him and explained to the big girl with her hair up and asked can he have another one.Hel have to pay she replied.But hes dropped it just outside the shop I said Really?? We left then ,with no slush puppy. Terrible customer service. I saw the manager few days later he said I know what u mean,but we have to make a profit. Was a pound slush puppy. How mean.rather not lose a pound than give a little boy the drink he'd just dropped just outside their shop. EXTREMLY MEAN!. Hard to believe. They couldn't lose a pound to make a upset child happy with another drink.!!

Sorry team, but if you're open till 9, then everything in the store should be available to buy till 9. 8 35 and no Purbeck ice cream because "we're at the end of the night" isn't acceptable. You had the ice cream there, but the lids were on and you wouldn't serve it. 2 very sad little boys who get their ice cream every other night after their tea in a restaurant, and love going "to the Londis" went without tonight. Poor show.

Dreadful customer service , keela the staff member was extremely rude over a spare cup for a hot chocolate so my two young children could share. was told I would have to pay the full price of a hot drink £1.70 for a cardboard cup even though I haveHad offered 30p for the cup. The T shop next door was amazing and made the children two small hot chocolates for the price of one and we're extremely polite.

A local gem of a shop. Fresh produce way in excess of what you might expect from a convenience store. Also a great place to buy drinks in the summer to have harbour side.

Great little local shop, reasonably priced, post office, some fresh French sticks in the morning, all the usual stuff, newspapers, off licence, very helpful pleasant staff, definite thumbs up.
