Went in for a new land line phone, was helped by Alan, genius. Went home happy. Got home,son said that I should have bought a 2 phone system. Ops! Went back next day, Sunday, Alan wasn't there so I grabbed Jason. So knowledgeable, I could not believe how speedy the exchange was!! So quick!! It was really busy,and so many people who needed attention. I was so impressed by all the staff . I would also like to say that it is a shame that you are closing on a Sunday. For Most of us wives like to take our spouse's after a good roast, to Curry's for a spot of retail therapy!!!.

I went in earlier today looking to get a new laptop. I was greeted by a very cheery member of staff who passed me onto Doreen. Doreen was very quiet and clearly doesn't know anything about tech. She only asked me what brands I liked and then showed me the display area, something I could've done that myself without the awkwardness of having her hovering over me. She seemed utterly disinterested in helping me and was very cold/standoffish, only saying the bare minimum possible. At one point she got another member of the team to show me a product, he was very friendly and I wish he had stepped in to continue the sale. There we some products I saw and liked on the currys website, they unfortunately weren't in stock which would've been a good opportunity for her to offer alternatives/ask me more about what I needed but she just kept quiet. I also work in customer service and understand that sometimes you don't want to deal with people but I left without buying anything because she made me feel unwelcome. Wouldn't be surpirsed if she's new or in training. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because it's not the rest of the teams fault that she's grumpy and miserable.Edit: Just seen another reveiw describe a woman who works there as "miserable" and I would bet money on it also being Doreen.

Service poor, we were in the store for 20 minutes wanting to buy a laptop. Staff just standing around with no offer of any help. We we did get some help, the knowledge was very poor, just read out specification from label on ipad. Would not recommend this store.

General electronics store. The range could be more. Many TVs, but mostly diagonal from 50 and above. There are no monitors at all. Some equipment is presented in a very limited quantity and range. Many well-known and popular brands are not.

I visited on two occasions within a week Initially i was impressed with the staff who asked if I needed any assistance, but then I ended up waiting an hour to find out that what was advertised on display as available, was in fact not available and the only option was to travel an hour and a quarter away to another store. No option given to get it delivered to store and collect in a few days, which I what I would reasonably expect a large chain to offer or am i just old fashioned?

James was brilliant but John attitude towards helping me with my product return was really poor... insinuating that's I was a lier and a their whichbwas not appreciated as a member of the management team at the weymouth store you would think he would have some people skills

The member of staff I spoke to was very helpful. He tried to help us getting the right tablet we needed for work.Unfortunately all the tablets we needed to see were on demo mode and couldn't be used properly so I could see if the website we used formatted correctly for work use.

A greeter who doesn't greet staff prowling in pairs (Perhaps it's for protection) enjoying conversations amongst themselves! Just as well use Amazon it's customer service is better

Staff were helpful as soon as I walked through the door, only disappointment was what I wanted wasn't in store, yet when I had checked online around 5 minutes before it was,but overall still a quality store.

Currys is alright, best to wait till the 2022 o led televisions come down in price before buying one as they will come down a lot within a few months. purchased a kettle that was £65 using Currys price promise and got it for £40 matching price with Amazon, much better than buying via internets, don't sell Sony telephones in the car telephone warehouse department which is a shame as they are the only telephones that look good, have purchased a few JBL blue tooth speakers & a fridge at Currys but couldn't buy them without a e-mail address & couldn't change them or get a refund buying them that way. if you wanted a refund the money went on a gift card and could only buy something else and not get money back which as put me off using currys for the last few years & have shopped else where for electrical equipment, Comet went broke so Currys need customers or they will go the same way. Also can't telephone Currys, Iv tried several times in the past
