Bought a Logitech steering wheel in store and got home found out there was no cables in the box even though online it says it comes with cables. Went back into the store without the wheel and asked for cables and they said they had none and it was best if I returned it. Waisted my time and takes 3-5 for the refund to come back. Not coming back here.

Bought and sold many times with zero issues. The employees don't make up the prices it's usually preset so sell/buy pricing is not something that warrants any complaints.
It's not the best pay for certain items but good for quick cash for an unwanted item. Use ebay if you think you can get a bit more.
Have never had any issues with second hand items including Surface Pro 6, various power banks and RAM sticks, and many second hand smartphones.
Most products come with a warranty - keep your receipt incase there's the odd chance you buy a faulty or wrong item.
Staff seem like minded and don't seem under pressure - unlike most retail shops the staff definitely seem to know more about the products their store sells.
Never had any issues with customer service - from looking at reviews, the negative ones seem to be customers who haven't got a clue about how the shop/company is run.
Zero complaints, great little store.

I purchased a ps5 and psvr2 from this store, I?ve had no problems with them both. However, I?m not sure if the staff talking to their friends over the desk was exactly productive, as it was clogging up the queue.

My son wanted the spider man on his ps5 he saw it was 50 pounds so he thought of a different way so he looked on the CeX website and saw it was 15 pounds so i said yes so today he got back from school and said to me can we go to CeX so i said when i have a free moment we will go. We went found a spot and paid 2.70 POUNDS for 30 minutes for a space i was not happy. Then we got to CeX my son asked the person at the desk. My son said if they had spider man they said they don't have and i said my son saw it on the website and the man said well that's the website not in here he had a bad attitude SO I SPENT 2.70 ON A PARKING TICKET THAT WHICH MITE NOT SEEM A LOT BUT FOR 30 MINUTES THAT IS A LOT. We did that all for nothing my son was annoyed so was i.

My initial visit to CEX Weymouth was quite disappointing. I had placed my trust in CEX due to their positive reviews. Today, I brought in my Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G for evaluation. They informed me that it would take some time to verify the device. After a few hours, I returned to inquire about the status of my phone, only to find it returned to me in a severely damaged condition. When I attempted to discuss the situation with the staff member who assessed my phone, he repeatedly responded with just the word "unfortunately." I strongly advise against trusting this establishment.

I am in my late 60s and not that knowledgeable on mobil phones especially the flip phone's
I purchased my first flip phone from this store lovely phone well pleased with my purchase but after 12mths for some reason after charging it would not switch on, so took it back to the store not realising that all flip phone's come with screen protector as standard, like I said first flip phone did not realise it didn't have one now I look after my phone's and but got told that I had removed it.
I didn't at the time know what they were talking about. The phone didn't have one
My daughter has just bought a flip phone from a cex in folkestone and that has no screen protector so it goes to prove that they do miss this.
I feel very angry as an older person I would not necessarily look for this as part of the phone.
What I'm angry with is being told I'm a lying about removing this screen protector and being dismissed like a child

It's not nice for people to look at you as a thief. You want to buy a device to look at it, but it's ridiculous that they see you as a thief. I don't recommend it. It's faulty products and they are not tolerant people. Avoid them.

Great shop to buy and sell from staff always friendly

Brought my laptop in to sell, pointed out it had a little bit of damage I was told they couldn?t buy it and that didn?t bother me at all it was fair enough but what wasn?t fair is how the two employees decided to mock me after they said they couldn?t buy it. Only reason for three stars was because I go there often and it?s been alright and they do have a wide range of stock. Unfortunately I won?t be returning however after this.
