Phoned ahead and stopped off in my campervan. Free if you eat in pub, and we'll worth it, I had their burger wow it was lovely and the chips were proper chips, a good selection of beers, and the setting is awesome, albeit it was raining during the evening, the views in the morning were fantastic. Will def go back.

Awesome pub. Massive beer garden with weekend events. Friendly staff and customers. Veggie roast was outstanding. The pub is quite small so I recommend to head there on a sunny day, sit anywhere outside and enjoy the marvellous view across the Dorset hills, you won't regret it.

Very warm welcome, friendly staff, excellent food and a good selection of beers. We were a large party of 10 and felt well looked after and they were very accommodating of the special dietary needs of one person in the group. We very much enjoyed the setting and lovely views from the summer house in the garden. Would definitely recommend.

We had an exquisite visit to this establishment of lunch, the pizza was the star of the show. An eclectic mix of home-made base sauce and succulent pulled pork combined with a cheese jalapeño topping?
Highly recommended with a pint or three of Otter Bitter. ??

My partner and I went here for Sunday lunch a few days ago - lovely quaint old style 'village pub' staffed by welcoming and friendly people. We both had roasts - beef for me and lamb for my partner - and everything was excellent except for my beef - probably partly my fault as I read 'rib' and expected short rib of beef but it was another sort of rib that was extremely fatty and gristly; what little meat I managed to get out of it was nice and perfectly cooked pink (as I like roast beef) but the large pile of inedible fat and gristle I had left at the end told it's own story! Obviously I wouldn't order the same thing again but everything else was so good that we shall certainly visit again.

Gorgeous pub in the heart of Dorset countryside but close to market town of Bridport. Cheerful and helpful team, lovely garden with exquisite views, pods for seating if it?s chilly but you want to be outside. We had supper here- it was excellent- lots of choice and very tasty. They also do pizzas and live music on some weekends. Would definitely go ok and have already recommended to several friends.

We stopped off at this beautiful pub last Thursday as we have a camper van and stayed over the night before we checked into our campsite. As long as you eat there, you can park for free in their car park, which has beautiful views across the countryside. What a great choice! We had a really lovely evening. Louise and her husband were really lovely and friendly and the pub is delightful. Food was outstanding. We had the calamari and the lamb, mint and vegetable pie and they were both delicious - so tender and tasty. Would definitely recommend this pub - it also had a beautiful garden with little pods in too. Thank you both very much. Paula and Trevor
