Lovely dog friendly restaurant. Food was excellent - highly recommend the Thai yellow curry. Service was friendly and attentive. Lovely spot.

Stopped in for what was supposed to be a quick drink, ended up staying for more and nibbles, the location is fantastic for a hot day and all reasonably priced too.

Only went here for drinks but such a lovely venue with great outside seating area. Lovely to sit by the river in the deck chairs. From what I saw of the food this looked great. Will definitely be returning

A beautiful spot in West Bay but the welcome was quite rude and service was exceptionally slow. They told us we couldn?t eat until midday when the lunch menu started. Food is extortionately overpriced. Two iced coffees which were only half a cup each came to over £10 and we finished them in 4 sips. The menu is clearly labelled with gluten free options however and this is always a bonus!

Had a fantastic trip to this West Bay restaurant. The food and drinks were lovely, the service was excellent and the prices weren't over the top. The views were stunning and the staff were very polite, prompt and friendly. I would definitely eat there again and definitely recommend to others.

I would award more stars if I could! The vibes of this place are immaculate ? we went as a family with four adults and two littles and had the most wonderful meal! Staff were lovely with the children, interacting with them and providing colouring and activities to keep them entertained. The whole restaurant has this lovely relaxed feel whilst delivering some of the most sumptuous food we?ve ever had. All locally sourced produce and a great selection to choose from. We loved it so much we immediately booked to have breakfast for the last day of our trip where I had the pleasure of eating the most delicious bacon sandwich I have ever had (the Dorset Doorstop!) 10/10 do not leave west bay without eating here!

The Rise is an amazing place to eat and have a drink. The food is on another level and is so well presented. The top place to eat in Westbay for sure.

We went for dinner on a busy Monday evening, fortunately we had booked. We both had the vegetable curry and enjoyed it, it lacked protein, like chickpeas or tofu. The desert menu was not inspiring, consisting mainly of ice cream or everything chocolate. I opted for cheese cake brûlé with strawberries. The portion was very small, which is just as well, it was horrible. Very sweet, with what looked like tinned strawberries. My husband had the chocolate brownie, smothered in chocolate ice cream, which was sickly.

Really liked the place, food was good with some smaller drawbacks.
The second piece of my fish from the fish and chips had quite some fishbones and the mussels were quite bland.
The other dishes we had were fine.
