The vegetables are cooked in their own way with flavour and taste. Cauliflower cheese eg gorgeous. Vegan broccoli dish unbelievable with the most loveliest sauce of chimichurri ?
Staff are really so kind. I had a little situation with my eye and I was looked after by the owners who genuinely care about their customers? the food and cleanliness is brilliant - I?m going to enjoy my beef pie now? Ellie the waitress is lovely too! The waitress Ruzana is soo kind and genuine and gentle, she belongs in a place with such lovely caring owners. Second time I have been here in two days just because of the gorgeous food and lovely vibe. Thanks. ? p.s can I have a free pie for loving you ?

Visited for lunch and tried the crab sandwich. Unfortunately, the sandwich was too creamy, which overpowered the taste of the crab. Despite this, the staff were very polite and understanding?they didn?t charge us for the dish, which we appreciated.
We felt a bit uncomfortable about it, but as it was already lunchtime and we needed to take some medication, we ate a little and left the rest. The café itself is very pleasant, with a lovely atmosphere. Although the dish didn?t work out, we?d be happy to return and try something else from the menu next time.

An English breakfast with the full ingredients well prepared and presented. Delicious and toast to order. Well presented and served by pleasant staff. Coffee superb with all the finishing touches. Made to feel welcome in an enchanting courtyard full of flowers. Dog friendly in an old building beautifully restored. A gem in Wareham. Will be back.

Didn't stay but was treated to THE most heavenly Chalk Stream Trout Nicoise salad followed by the most unusual - in the best way - dessert: Hazelnut Parfait, apple and tamarind, apricot puree and dukkah. Not sure what the last is, but the flavours were exciting - sweet and slightly savory which brought out the flavours of the hazelnut... Superb service from Ellie and Kim. Will return.

Lovely quirky pub that does amazing coffee and cake, which was the purpose of our visit...hence I've not rated the rooms. Can't comment on something not seen or used. Been several times mostly morning for elevenses, but also late afternoon on a wet wintry midweek day. Always warm and welcoming inside in the small cosy lounge areas at the front. The conservatory type lounge right at the back is popular especially mid morning but service is prompt. Lots of drinks choices with cakes on display to pick from. Thoroughly recommend this little gem in Wareham.

We had lunch at the hotel the food was amazing and wanted to order dessert.However the service was awful, 3 staff members behind the counter talking about their love life?s not paying attention to clearing our plates away that is after 15 minutes of finishing or asking about drinks dessert. So disappointed.

Janet and her staff were amazing today with a lovely lunch provided with excellence on a very busy day for them. We have food intolerances and they accommodated those brilliantly and the boys were thoroughly entrained with colouring pens and pads. I?d highly recommend The Bear based on this experience.
