Great store, tucked away off the main road, friendly and cheerful staff - kind & patient attention to elderly regulars. We?ve been in everyday for Costa coffee, fresh veg, fresh baked hot food & lottery scratch card. Staff show a good sense of humour at a busy store. Amazon collection point at the post office.

The shop itself is alright but the people that work there aren?t. A couple days ago I came in to buy some stuff and when I got to the counter there was a queue of people waiting for a staff member to come and serve. They were both stood by the door having a very inappropriate conversation about someone going missing and getting killed in front of children!I went in today and the old woman that served me was very rude and had an attitude that I didn?t appreciate.

This is my local shop I go here every week the reason I gave it 4 stars is because I?ve got scammed before when I had cash but overall I live really near it so it?s really good a big section of sweets and energy drinks and the best ice coffee

Has anyone else had a bad experience with P*** at the Carey Road Spar? Rude wouldn?t cover it. I had an unfortunate experience there in December following which I contacted the manager Bryony and was assured of an apology if I called in again. With one thing and another (more likely that I was avoiding it as I was still mortified) I didn?t take her up on it until recently only to find she has now left. Challenged him today in the store only to be verbally abused once again. What a horror he is. The store didn?t reply to any of my messages at the time no doubt they also leave him in charge of their social media account too ?
