“What a stunning place. Warm welcome in reception. Beautiful settings, few minutes walk from Kingston centre. 5 mins drive from Swanage centre. Incredibly comfy beds. Individual cottage style rooms, we had our bedroom upstairs. Lovely and toasty warm rooms. Great breakfast. Evening meal on Valentines night was incredible. Dog friendly, our 2 sproodles loved it! We will be back indeed. 5* all day long!”

Staff are really so kind. I had a little situation with my eye and I was looked after by the owners who genuinely care about their customers… the food and cleanliness is brilliant - I’m going to enjoy my beef pie now… Ellie the waitress is lovely too! The waitress Ruzana is soo kind and genuine and gentle, she belongs in a place with such lovely caring owners. Second time I have been here in two days just because of the gorgeous food and lovely vibe. Thanks. ? p.s can I have a free pie for loving you ?”

“We visited Anglebury House Restaurant on July 15 for an evening meal we were very pleased to find a really pleasing menu making it hard to choose your meal l had chicken katsu curry and my wife had ham and cheese pasta and a great bottle of wine ? all for a great price. Bruce”

Not cheap but worth it.Food & drinks: Delicious well presented and cooked food with even some reasonable priced but drinkable wines.Noteworthy details: Clever blend of old traditional construction with modern convenience.”

“Came for Sunday lunch on Mothering Sunday. They were booked until 3.30pm and it was still very busy when we arrived. We had booked the day before but couldn't find our booking but still managed to find us a table. Myself and my husband both had the roast chicken and could not fault it for quantity, quality or taste it was delicious. Everything was cooked just right down to the lovely crispy roast potatoes and the amazing, not out of a packet gravy. We have been coming to the Banke's Arms for years and yesterday's visit did not disappoint.Food & drinks: Great value, good choices.Well cooked and presented.”
