Great Sunday lunch . Other meals include some great Turkish dishes . In winter a daily open fire in main bar . Huge beer garden . Real Ales and Ciders . Recently refurbished but has kept its old caractor.

Sunday roast today. £20 for good Yorkshire pudding, tough overcooked beef, one carrot, one piece of tough kale, three roast potatoes and half a parsnip. Extra £3.50 for a portion of cauliflower cheese which was awful...tasted as if made from synthetic cheese slices.
Grandson berated by barman for not eating all his chicken..and that included picking up a chicken leg from his plate and waving it to make his point!!!
Very slow service. Toilets were outside building.
Will not be returning, sadly.

We had a sirloin steak cooked to perfection and the grilled Mediterranean vegetables were delicious. Generous portions and friendly staff. Loved the wooden and glass tables in the bar area. However we returned the next evening after making a reservation and were very disappointed with how we were treated. After being ignored for a few minutes we were then told that we were lucky they hadn?t closed the kitchen and only had a limited menu available. He then walked away from our table to come back a few minutes later to say it was ok, they would take our order. By which time we had decided to leave. So one good experience and one bad-but we won?t go back.

The staff were brilliant! Nice pub.
Paying £20 for a roast was disappointed with what I got. Not enough veg, and pudding...being the cheese cake. Base of the cheese cake wasn't there. Not good for £7.50! When asked if I could pls have a slice with the biscuit on the bottom I was told i delt it.

I recently visited again but was a bit disappointed this time. We were informed not to sit at some tables as they had just been set for dinner (though there were no tables booked at the time when we enquired about making one). We were happy to sit at any table with our drinks but the ones available were in the other bar which meant carrying the drinks outside round to the other bar area, no offer from barman to pass them round to the other bar. The beer was good, gravity poured, but only two available on this visit.

Didn't stay there but had some food. Reasonable menu but nothing special. Best thing was the beer. All craft ales are Gravity poured.

A proper pub with top notch authentic Turkish food. Sounds weird? Think again. This place is fabulous. If you are in Swanage and fancy a treat, give it a try.

Popped in on the off chance for a table for two, and although they were busy, they found us a table at very short notice. The barman was extremely polite and courteous, and the food came it was hot and plentiful. Great choice of wines and beers. Recommended. Would definitely go back again.
