Refused to take return parcels as the post had already left. Needs to be more clear online I'd they can't hold items overnight. People work and are unable to go early morning. I went the next morning and was told we can do it this time only and that was first thing. Customer service is a joke, so rude!

They don?t even deserve one star!!! Worst experience and was treated badly in Stalbridge post office today. I went there to drop two parcels which I already paid postage and the Indian lady in the shop said they don?t take pre paid parcels and I can collect from home. I told her when I bought the postage, it said I can drop off in post office and I?m not at home all the time. She refused to take them so I left. Then I came back couple minutes later and lined up in the queue again. She saw me and told me right away to go because she won?t take pre paid parcel. I told her I am going to buy new postage for both parcels and she said she will not serve me. She tried to say I?m rude which in fact she was the rude one and she didn?t want to serve me in any way. I said ?you are being lazy and rude? I asked her what?s her name so I can make an official complaint to post office and she said I can find on internet. They think they are the only post office in stalbridge so they can do anything to the customers. One of the customers told me to go because I hold up the line and she didn?t even know what?s going on. By the way their shop is horrendous. Dirty and filthy. Never go there again.Update: confirmed with Royal Mail that Stalbridge post office cannot refuse drop and go parcel, and it?s also clearly says on their website drop & go is part of their service.

The new post office owners have made it much more convenient for locals. They're still offering the usual PO services but they're also open longer, carry more stock, inc newspapers, and are friendly and helpful.

Terrible. Worst experience i have ever had in a post office. Refused to sell me two first class stamps as it was "not profitable enough", wanted me to pay for recorded delivery instead. I am never going back. Find another Post Office that actually wants to be a Post Office!
