This is probably one of the best pubs in the area. Family run and THE most delicious food. Friendly, kind, funny and welcoming. Our family and friends love it here. I cannot recommend it highly enough. . Book tables in advance and enjoy

A great family Sunday roast. Delicious and generous roasts with perfect potatoes, amazing Yorkshire's, a lovely variety of veg, different gravies and sauces and a fantastic, homemade nut roast. The puds were just as good and I really appreciated the tasty plant-based options. Thanks Jayne and family!

The horseshoe inn gives a warm welcome, the Sunday lunch is excellent, and the portions are generous. Tony serves great beer and gives the authentic country pub experience, missing from most venues.
I'd highly recommend a visit. Just make sure you book in advance as this is a deservedly busy pub.

Called in late lunchtime on wet and gloomy day, after a gruff greeting, we were given a table and had a fantastic lunch, food is excellent, portions are generous and staff courteous. Will go again, but we'll book to be sure of s space.
