Thank you so much for my online order.From beginning to end the whole experience has been exceptional - good old fashioned, hassle free customer service! Priceless! I was able to call the shop, ask questions before placing my order.The garments ordered were perfect and so beautifully wrapped that I simply took the box into hospital for the recipient to unwrap the beautifully tissue wrapped gown. These touches make such a difference and add love to the orderreceived.Recipient was overjoyed and that was worth it all.Thank you so very much for your exceptional customer service, finishing touches and quality clothing. Ordered the same item online from 3 different retailers: Shirley Allum, Seasalt and Marks and Spencer. Seasalt has yet to even despatch the item despite taking my money promptly. M&S sent theirs via Hermes who left it in a rubbish bin miles from my house and I had to deal with their customer service people in South Africa who were atrocious and I've yet to get my money back (echoes of BT's service centre in India). Shirley Allum posted the next day and I got it the day after. Well done Shirley Allum just quietly getting on with it in a professional manner whilst the big shops make idiots of themselves. Delighted to leave this review and hope Shirley Allum goes from strength to strength. The big companies are starting to get too big for their boots. Seasalt's gone nuts. M&S is full of empty customer service language. Will buy from Shirley Allum again. Professional and competent.

What a gem of a store to find today. Never been to Shaftesbury before but have already talked my husband into going again next week and we are not local. Stumbled across Shirley Allum Fashions and they have everything I want in the one place. I used to goto Debenhams because they had everything but are no longer about. The likes of John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, Bradbeers have nice things but don't cater for the bigger sizes. This shop does.... beautiful clothes and styles of all sizes and stockists of sea salt too. My goodness I can spend a fortune here. Ladies it was a privilege to meet you all today and thank you for my shopping experience. Hopefully if all goes well will drive down to see you next week and I will have the time to really look and buy. Take care of yourselves see you soon. Best wishes for a great season but please don't sell to much before I get there ASAP ?

Be aware.... refunds only given within 7 days. Just come out of the shop in tears as I tried to return an expensive item after 9 days and was told I would only get a credit note to spend in the shop. This wasn't explained to me when I bought the item. The staff pointed to a notice by the till which wasn't clearly visible to me when I bought the item. I was very upset and got no support from the staff. They just kept saying the computer wouldn't let them give me a refund. I am gutted.

Hate buying bras? Me too - but not here. Staff here will listen to what you need and give you good support (literally and figuratively!). They stock some great brands like Wacoal and Fantasie and know what they are doing when it comes to fit. They also know their stock really well and come up with helpful suggestions rather than just trying to upsell.I am told they do mail order too but it's actually a pleasure to come in, try stuff on, be treated like a human being and go home with a spring in your step looking and feeling much better.It was also a nice surprise to get a 20% discount at the till for buying two full price bras after I had already decided to buy them (no hard sell on that current promotion either).Thank you Shelley & colleagues in the lingerie department.

Just visited the Lingerie Department - fabulous one to one service - plenty of time and attention. Their personal measuring service is excellent. On the way out I spotted a neat black dress on one of the Shop Assistants. When I remarked how good it looked, she promptly went upstairs and unpacked the new stock. Other assistants joined in with different colours. They were fun and efficient. The whole shop is professional but personal. Everything I bought was perfect. Thanks.
