Great bread and cakes. Best lardy cake in the area. Sourdough is great and their sausage rolls are lovely. Our only local bakers and we get all our bread from here. Service is good. Atmosphere? It's a shop!!!

Every morning after work i go in & get a sausage roll, the staff are so friendly, they get to know their customers like the regulars that go in. I no longer have to say what i want anymore cause i go in everyday, their sausage rolls & apple danish are my top things i get & i always recommend other people to get them.

Great food, but the worst service in Shaftesbury. Really let's it down. It's not cheap so not getting a smile and being made to feel like being an inconvenience when you asked to be served is a very poor show.

I recently visited this bakery and had an extremely disappointing experience. The woman working in the shop was blatantly rude to my wife when she asked about the food. It was clear from her attitude and behavior that she harbors racist tendencies. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and has left a very bad impression on us. We expected better from a well-known bakery and will not be returning. I urge others to think twice before supporting a place that condones such disrespectful behavior.

Love the sausage rolls, they are the best ? love their sweet treats too. I don't visit shaftesbury very often but always pop in when I do. I just wish it would stay open till 5 pm rather than 4 pm week days

They serve all their loaves in plastic bags. Total and utter disregard for their impact on the environment. When I asked, they said it?s to keep the bread fresh. But it?s not a good enough reason. They are handing out hundreds a day. They should use paper and give out plastic as and when customers ask for plastic. Not the other way around.
