We booked for dinner, when we arrived no one asked what we wanted for some time,when eventually they did we were shown to a table,they didn't have many of the items that was in the menu. This is no way to operate as a restaurant, so we left further more no one could care less .

I dont know about tge rooms,we had a family meal in the dining area. That was a nice setting.
The food was average,iv had worse.
I ordered halloumi which should of come with chilli jam( which it did) and rocket leaves...they weren't on my big plate with halloumi and jam, it looked lost on the plate and rather over priced for what I got.
The main was gammon, chips peas pineapple, the chips were rubbish, they need to improve the chip situation id say.

Visited the pub for family brunch this Sunday morning and the service was just.... unpleasant. The pub was fairly quiet and there was a little wait on food, and the food itself wasn't great - but the main issue was the service. The two staff who were working at the time seemed extremely fed up and and were both snappy.

We had childs portion of sausage and mash, the sausages were ok, however mash was inedible, very stodgy and sticky, difficult to describe.
My partner had lasagne, the taste was ok but the texture was strange, seemed to dissolve in the mouth, nothing to chew. I had beef and ale pie or should I say GRAVY pie there was less than a teaspoonful of meat we did query whether it was usual to have so little meat they very quickly brought me another one which was just as bad,to top it all the pastry was rock hard even the gravy didn't soften it.
We've eaten in there a few times and to be honest we've always enjoyed the food but yesterday was not good.
Would I go back? Not sure.

I have been here many times and had an excellence experience . but on Sunday for Father?s Day I took my son in for some breakfast.
I was greeted by it?s a 45 minute wait for food. This was absolutely fine as there was no rush.
The women working then pulled a face of disgust , as we sat down she then told the chef and pointed at us pulling a face. The chef then approached and said it?s 1 hour wait for food.
Again was happy to wait , but this customer service towards me and my child was rude and uncalled for I would recommend not to visit here I will never be visiting again.

Went for a drink and something to eat,ordered food but they said not till 2.30pm which was a disappointment, so had to wait about three quarters of an hour according to the menu sandwiches were on from 12pm but still had to wait.
