We were served by Mat and Jess who were both lovely and efficient. Mat went above and beyond when i mentioned that the barman said they didn't do cocktails there. Mat said yes they do , and got me to choose one from his tablet . The manager Jake was also very welcoming and polite and worked as hard as the waiters and waitresses. Jake also mentioned to me that he had a word with the barman for telling me that they didn't do cocktails there and Jake apologised for the wrong information given to me. A lovely restaurant with lovely, happy and efficient staff except for the lazy barman!

Lovely roast dinner with my wife. Plenty of meat from 4 choices. Unlimited potatoes and veg.

Toby is what it is let's face it. Ive been to a few recently and this is the best one. The food was the best, meat serving was where is should be. I dont expect a ton of turkey but a couple of thick slices would be nice and this is what I received here. Evie was a lovely waitress, hard working and very attentive. I'd recommend this Toby and would visit again no hesitation if I was in the area.
