I've been twice in 2 weeks. I'm addicted to their hot chocolate with marshmallows. They also serve cake - mmm!As far as I know that's all they serve - though the only menu on our table was a drinks list. It is in a glorious location over-looking the Lake, and the swans. Very popular. Self service. Dogs welcome. Staff helpful and friendly. Good atmosphere. Most people seem to use it for coffee and afternoon tea.Parking: The Kitchen is right next to a free car park, over-looking the Lake. When I got there for 11 a.m. coffee, the nearest one was full up. However the next car park - about 10 minutes walk around the Lake, - did have spaces. Free. There are more spaces around the edges, free for 2 hours. It would seem to be largely dependant on the weather and time of day. It's in a park, popular with us dog walkers.

Had a fantastic evening at the Motown Night! Fantastic singer, gorgeous food and amazing friendly staff, in particular a member of staff called Charlie, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! Thank you to all the team, we will be back

The most superb position overlooking Poole Park Lake, but the food and service is always a little dissapointing. The tea, is without doubt the worst I have ever tasted, and I have tried it about 6 times. My husband says the coffee is lovely though. I really don't like to criticize, and do so very rarely, but I do feel the cafe relies upon its position a bit too much, being made to feel even a teensy bit welcome would be a good start.

I have visited this place several times, food is great and the staff are friendly and approachable. The views of the lake are also stunning to look at.Parking: Many parking spaces available next to the restaurant and throughout the park however it can get busy very quickly.

Turned up at 4pm, Was told they were closing, apparently they are now closing early. The opening times on the wall hadn't been changed. So was slightly disappointed. Found somewhere better in the end.

Review based on my experience of the venue at the Garry J Foley Elvis tribute event last night. Firstly the food was very good, and hot, although it was a long time coming. For some reason we were plunged into almost darkness just before the food was served, and the lights remained so dim we could hardly see Garry for the first half of the show. They had also positioned him right down one end so people the other end had a job to see anything at all. This also meant seating layout wasn?t ideal for watching the show as half the chairs faced away from the ?stage? due to being set up at tables for eating. Would have worked better if Garry was in the middle of one side of the room. Drinks way overpriced too! Plenty of room for improvement for future shows? but I must add that Garry himself was superb as always!

I ordered a pastrami on Sourdough sandwich, was I received with a tiny amount of pastrami, tiny amount of pickles between too very thick slices of basic white bread. Also for some reason they are playing loud nightclub style music.Awful!

A cosy comfy, relaxed setting for a lazy rainy afternoon with the family.Lovely views across the park and cool art deco vibes.Staff were fabulousThe food we had was absolutely delicious, but would have liked to see a soup option / pasta dish and jacket potatoes - that would have made it a 5 star and helped us best cater to all allergies and dietary restrictions. But cannot fault what we did eat. Very yummy.

Not normally one to leave reviews, but this restaurant is poor! Top of the list is the attitude of the staff, it is horrendous, not welcoming at all, and all seem to have an attitude. Tea cups were very dirty and when I asked for a clean one there was no apology just attitude from the member of staff. Food took ages to come out, which was just portions of chips. I would definitely not recommend, especially considering the prices.
