Great choice of drinks with guest beers. Staff are always friendly and attentive but not overly so. The pub is clean, no sticky tables here. Good range of options on the menus which are sensibly priced and the food is hot and fresh. Great local pub but not only for local people.

We were looking for somewhere in the area that had parking and The Acorn popped up. The reviews seemed good so we went to check it out. We were really pleased we did. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was really nice. I had the homemade nachos, some were a little over done, but I actually prefer that. Salsa had a good kick. The mains were served hot and we didn't have to wait too long between courses. They had some colouring in for our little boy so that kept him entertained and then afterwards we sat outside and he enjoyed the play park. It was fairly busy with children, but the park was a decent size to accommodate this. Plenty of outdoor seating in this area and the other side if you prefer somewhere a bit quieter. Very modern feel to the setting, I am not sure if the toilets (ladies) had recently been done as there was a smell of paint, however it wasn't unpleasant. They were very clean. Ample parking. Really recommend.

Lovely little venue cracking food lovely clean fresh interior great staff and a bonus of an outdoor seating and kids play area! All round great venue for the whole family

Friendly staff, good pub with a beer garden. Lots of different ciders to choose from which is a nice change from regular pubs only serving one or two draft ciders. Dog friendly which is always a bonus for me. The general manager is a lovely lady too! Can't comment on food as I've not eaten here before but maybe another time soon!

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and presentation. When I went for lunch with my friend. We had a jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw and scampi with salad and chips. Large portions and tasty food. The atmosphere was good we enjoyed our first vist.We will definitely vist again.
Parking: Easy to park and plenty of spaces .

Since we moved here in November, we have visited here most nights, the staff are awesome and friendly.
They do a quiz on a Monday which is brilliant and it's always busy, the food portions are big and filling and perfectly priced, just an amazing place.
