Not as much a review but a warning to all shopping in Sports Direct. Two weeks ago I bought there two sport bras and a pair of leggings. The changing rooms seemed closed so I decided to just pay and try them at home. Sadly they were too big so today I tried returning them. First I was told that sport bras are unreturnable because they are classified as underwear which is fair enough but I wasn?t told that at the till at the time of the purchase. Second I couldn?t return the leggings as I was only offered a credit note instead of money back onto my card which I find ridiculous. Sports Direct must be the only one shop not offering proper refunds. All what I got for the staff member was ?everything is on the bottom of the receipt?. It seems like a standard reply judging by some previous reviews. I?ve learned my lesson - I won?t shop there again. And the bras and the leggings are going on Vinted.

Customer experience is simply not a consideration. Bought some football boots online that didn't fit. Tried to return them to my local shop but apparently they dont accept online returns?! Raised this with the store manager who appeared to struggle saying anything else other than 'its on the terms and conditions on our website.' No apology, no concern. But rather agressive overall. What sort of tinpot company wont accept returns? I wont be shopping here or online with them again. They also might want to consider employing a store manager than can converse with their customers rather than reading from the obvious script. They also do not refund cash but only credit vouchers!? How can retail businesses get away with this type of rort in 2024?

Dier customer service. The 2 girls that served me were just moaning about their shift and not acknowledging the customers in front of them. Today I went to return an item that I bought last week only to find out they do not refund the payment to your card - they only do credit notes/exchanges. Ridiculous. Won?t be using you again.

Wide range of trainers competitively-priced. Fast and polite service at the till. Poor service on the floor as assistant more interested in chatting up the new employee than actually serving customers.

Really good value clothing. Not all is about sport. It can be very crowded in here. I haven't visited in a while but my daughter got lots of gear here.
