I visited Screwfix at Parkstone this morning. I had some gift cards to spend and the guy on the till wasn't too sure how to process them. He then fetched someone who did. It was a long winded process, (no fault of the assistant) but he got on with it and dealt with my purchase. Very professional and even made me a coffee while I waited.

Today's assistant had a more important conversation with her colleagues, rather than assisting her customers. The visit before this one, the staff member ignored me waiting when they did get around to me, the service was rude and other customers who came in after me were given their products before me. Never mind Toolstation is always my preference, they are never rude, great service and usually cheaper

Had to provide surname ,first name , address, post code and email address !!! When asked why was told it was a criminal offence not too !! Then as usual , out of stock. ?

I went in to the store to buy some bits and I was pushed to use the tablets because they are not serving on the tills today, so I asked to see the manager, he too said ?we are not serving anyone today, it?s tablet only?.Upon contacting the costumer service as I?m more than aware of my rights they replied with this should not have happened and I will get the manager himself to call to apologise personally,I refuse because the guy clearly is not management material and said what?s going to happen about this?An investigation is taken place, the only half explanation I was given is that they have targets to hit with people using the tablets, so if they refused to serve pushing people to use the tablets they can hit the targets.Screwfix is now refusing to answer my emails.Thank you for your service, I will be shutting my account with Screwfix

The staff were not only polite and helpful but also had knowledge in what they were selling which is a nice change in todays shops. Keep it up
