I travelled for over an hour as this is now my nearest branch, lots have been closed & have to rely on the online banking.
Unfortunately the online banking would not answer my query!
The person who stands by the door asking your business replied that I would need an appt for my request!!
She obviously saw my disappointment & when I spoke of my time travelled she endeavoured to help.
Her name was Toni & she went out of her way to help, she is a perfect representative of the branch & I am very grateful for her making time & advice given.
I?d give 5*s if local branches were not closed, more customers are taking up time in the branches left because they can?t do all their banking needs online!!?take note

Absolutely disgusting, poor management and staff. No people skills whatsoever obnoxious springs to mind. Very nice and helpful finance manager. Money will be moved to a more helpful bank

The worst service I have ever had. This bank support is terrible. They will speak with you polite, but never help you. They will spend your time but never resolve your problem.

The Wife and I visited the branch and both cashiers were serving. Whilst waiting we heard Natalie speaking with a customer who was clearly vulnerable and needed a lot of assistance. Natalie was extremely polite and clearly enjoyed helping the gentlemen which is lovely to see. It was then our turn and we put a lot of unsorted change on the desk. Natalie was so helpful and kept a very funny conversation with us whilst we waited. The service provided by Natalie was so genuine, and our experience was amazing. Thank you so much Natalie, Santander should be proud to have such a great person working with them.

The only time I get get to a bank is Saturday the staff are always helpful and smiling. Having to wait for a new debit card to arrive I needed to withdraw cash. It was not a problem the Saturday cashiers were so helpful thank you .

Poor customer handling generally. Obstructive staff and difficult to deal with even when provided with correct proof of ID and paperwork. The bank was fined heavily in 2018 for compliance issues relating to bereavement processes. No lessons learned by them . Avoid.Following a regulatory complaint which was upheld now awarded compensation for this issue.As I say avoid this bank at all costs.

My son tried depositing a cheque in the cashpoint but it wasn't accepted, had to wait in the queue for the cashier. Only one cashier on duty. 15 minutes wait
