Useless. Queued for an hour to renew my driving licence (wouldn't work online) just to be told at the counter they won't do it because they are in a WiFi blackspot. It wouldn't hurt just to pop a sign up somewhere mentioning this, the website says you can do licence renewals.

Post Offices regularly get criticised for poor customer service and this fully upholds the accusation. Would have been 1 star but there is at least one member of staff who seems to actually want to help.

This post office not only provides an exceptionally slow service but by "playing efficiency" rips off customers.I bought a bubble-padded envelope in the store and wanted to send the 4-page document. The envelope was no more than 2 millimeters (! millimeters, not centimeters) bigger than their archaic measurement pad. The highly efficient clerk charged me for a parcel, not the envelope cost.Efficiency without common sense is not only infuriating but adds to already the bad name of the company.

Unfortunately, I will not be coming to this branch again. Cashier named Charlotte insists on weighing every single item (up to 30 at times) when post is already paid for on Royal Mail?s website with a label and weight on the label. No other branch or cashier does this and I go to a few as a small business for 3 years now (thankfully, rarely Poole) They simply enter the weight on the label and don?t waste everyone?s time. It seems to be unnecessary and deliberate busy-body behaviour. Holding up a queue of people and having the audacity to say I?m the one holding them up by unnecessarily weighing every item! Thankfully it is only one member of staff who appears to be a complete robotic jobsworth with no personality. I will be arranging collections moving forward! Shout out to Kevin and Maria who are just wonderful, personable and leave me smiling every time I leave AND TRUST the weight on my packages for the last 3 years without issues! Will miss you both!

There are only ever 2 or 3 staff here now. They are pleasant but that doesn't help the long queue.

This branch is hardly ever open, and even when they're supposed to be open they still try to refuse customers entry even when there's 5 mins left according to their info on the website. I had to wave my phone at three staff chatting away to show them they were shutting 5 mins early, I gained admission after the phone flashing and was in and out in 2 mins. What an odd way to run a business???

Stood in a long queue only to be informed that they do not do dvla licence renewals (though it is mentioned on the Post Office website)

Inconsistent opening times, sometimes not even open due to short staff. No one to call to know if it?s open or not before travelling, just a sign on the door saying closed. WH Smith don?t answer the phone and the Post Office number is useless. So essentially, don?t come here if you need something sending on the off chance it?s closed! Wasted fuel many times, sick of it. Pay your staff more money and people might stay there!

Visited Multiple Times over the last few years. On a downward spiral.Last experience was as follows:Closed the queue for lunch whilst I was in it. The line was long and obviously couldn?t be bothered to work through it before closing.Returned, sent the package and asked to exchange £s for ?s. Told they couldn?t do it due to being new, fair enough. Advised me to go the till next to it. Did as asked then was accused by the employee behind the money till of line skipping and that I should wait inline with everyone else. Wouldn?t listen to what I had to say and kept cutting me off. Extremely rude and I had to get the other staff member to explain.Just keeps getting worse, staff keep getting ruder and overall I?m surprised it?s still functioning.Sadly it?s not always possible to post elsewhere but would advise to use other company?s as quicker, cheaper and overall better experiences.

Wanted to post a letter to an EU country today, so couldn't just buy a book of stamps as needed it to be weighed. As was in Poole shopping, thought I would just pop in the Post Office, located in W H Smith. . OMG, joined the queue but it was so long decided to go and do some shopping and come back. Did this 3 separate times but each time the queue so long that I gave up. Felt very sorry for the one person serving customers. This is called progress? More like going back in time!! In all my years visiting and for a brief time working in Poole, I have never come across such poor service. Did my shopping, went home to East Lulworth, then made a separate journey to Wool Post Office. What a difference.. one person in the queue before me, in and out in minutes and very friendly staff....and my letter posted, no problem !!! With technology coming out of our ears, how had this happened? ...
