This pub has been my local since I was a kid as I used to live behind this pub in the culdesac behind. It has always been a friendly, happy and chatty atmosphere.
The food has always been so so depending on what chain or what chef is currently running.
It will forever be my local no matter how far I love away

Not a bad pub but why have your opening times state until 2300 on a Sunday only to close at 22:30?

The food was nice and reasonably priced. My family had ordered their food and I ordered mine straight afterwards, it took a long time to get ours out which was a bit annoying as my family and pretty much finished by the time ours came out but the food was nice. The staff were friendly too and the place was quite busy.
We were able to take the dog in the bar which was really good as well.

Had a lovely meal with the family at The Red Lion while visiting Poole. The staff couldn?t have been more helpful and the locals were very friendly. Will definitely visit again if we visit Poole again.
