Never answer the phone?? Have rung several times over past two weeks and never any answer, just rings until the call ends.Edit: I admit this was written in a state of panic and stress trying to get medication sorted, however went into the pharmacy again and was met with the most amazing and knowledgable staff. I?ve had so many complications with medications and unhelpful or rude pharmacists but in lytchett pharmacies they were so helpful, patient and gave me all the options they possibly could. Highly recommend :) Wish I lived closer so this could be my local one!

It is always a pleasure to visit this Pharmacy. On today's visit Miranda and Yousif were not only very helpful, they were great fun too. If customer experience matters to you as it does to us, this is a great team delivering a great and reliable service consistently.

I wish all pharmacies were like this one, lovely traditional village pharmacy with extremely helpful staff.

Thank you very much to the Pharmacist yesterday, who sorted my urgent prescription out, following my Repeat Prescription "undetermined" status error at GP online service. The Pharmacist was very kind & understanding at my predicament. He prepared majority of my whole order by 5pm, very professional, very efficient & helpful when they are clearly very busy too. A credit to the Pharmacy. Many thanks again, a great team at Lytchett Pharmacy.

Yesterday I had a second horrible experience here. On Monday I was told they needed to order some of my meds in order to fill my prescription, I was told they would be in on Tues am, I went in at 2pm on Tuesday and was told very abruptly it was not ready because no one had unpacked the delivery. I said I would wait but counter assistant said ?no it will be ages, come back in 2 hours, you are supposed to give 5 days notice? Really? I have hypertension, anxiety disorder, osteo arthritis with a spinal fusion and diabetes and in my mid sixties, it takes twenty painful minutes to walk to the chemist and 20 mins home. Obviously I was cross and I said so and was shouted down by the assistant and was told they have a zero tolerance for rudeness? All I said was this is ridiculous I can?t come back again. Perhaps they should apply that statement to their own behaviour, I was told to ?go away and don?t come back?I still didn?t have my meds. This is my local pharmacy and my prescription is sent there from my GP.........not any more, I will use an online service from now on. The counter assistant (Sue was on her name badge) was unhelpful, aggressive and actually quite vile when she was yelling across the shop at me in front of other customers. She was more interested in catching a spider than serving me. I left in tears, a few minutes later I returned and asked for my script (6items) my husband later drove to another chemist and all the items were dispensed in 20 minutes. I believe that pharmacy staff should treat their patients with empathy and understanding, they have no idea of their customers situation or problems. This is the second time I have had a bad experience with this particular staff member who I have heard being unpleasant to other customers trying to collect prescriptions. She is a bully and she and some of the pharmacists in this shop definitely need customer service training. The pharmist also came out and said we have a lot of work and can?t just drop everything we have our deadlines, I replied I too have deadlines. Their storage system is disorganised and they often can?t find scripts and blame the GP?s for not sending them over when they have been there all the time. I have been very shaken by this incident and have had a severe headache all evening. The last time this counter assistant was unpleasant she made me wait outside in the cold just because she was cross because I needed a script filled urgently because I was going on holiday the next day.My husband and I will never use this pharmacy again which means we have to travel 20 minutes by car whenever we need medication.I am a retired RGN with 44 years of NHS service.Your faithfully

I feel really disappointed of how I was responded to on the telephone. Our GP put a prescription through for my husband antibiotics, I contacted the pharmacy on Thursday who advised it wouldn?t be delivered that day as they didn?t have a pharmacist, that was fine but it would be delivered on Friday, I get home from work and still no tablets. I contacted the pharmacy only to be told that they had attempted to deliver but no one was in. My husband is disabled, doesn?t work so was at home all day and we live in sheltered accommodation with intercom entrance, which obviously wasn?t rang. I asked if it could be put on record how to get to back car park and was told in no uncertain terms that she wasn?t a driver and didn?t understand what I was saying. All I ask is to go to end of our road go right and right into car park. They couldn?t understand my instructions. We now have to wait until Monday.

I have been going to Lytchett Matravers Pharmacy for nearly 3 years for my own prescription needs but also those of many members of the village throughout Covid-19 and lockdown. I have always had a friendly welcome and no matter how busy they are, they always show me appropriate time and attention.Miranda and Sue are usually on the front desk with a smile and remember me and who I usually collect for and will let me know if there is something to collect that I may not be aware of yet to save me a journey (while maintaining confidentiality of course)! It is a pleasure to get to see them regularly and they have ALL worked incredibly hard throughout Covid-19

WHY is Lytchett Matravers pharmacy charging £7.50 ? WHY for a tinny hand sanitiser When the local Tesco is charging £2.64 it?s disgusting that they should be aloud to do this at this time of need, We should all be supporting each other most unsettling to know that This pharmacy is not supporting its community instead is taking full advantage of us you should be named and shamedThe poor old dears that live in the community and the people who have lost there jobs or on low wages.Shame on you will never go in this pharmacy again not supporting bad behaviour ?
