Great shop, more targeted to female shoppers but that wasn?t an issue for me. Staff were very friendly.

Being a charity shop, you can have a variety of items, such as clothing, shoes, handbags, books, bric a brac, jewellery and other assorted items. It's the luck of the day! They also sell some brand new products too. It's friendly with a good atmosphere. Worth a look!!

The Bridal and Evening Wear department is amazing.

Good stock of books, but prices are high compared to many of the other charity shops jostling for space on the High Street in Poole.
I won't be shopping or donating here ever again, as I don't want my support being used to buy prostitutes for Oxfam staff in Haiti.

Oxfam is located on the high street just down from the train crossing. It is your typical charity shop stocking clothes, books, toys and small gifts. There is always a vast array of stock and prices are reasonable as you would expect for a second hand shop. I have always found the staff to be really friendly and always willing to have a chat. I buy a lot of books in here and they are always priced around 1 or 2 pounds which I think is acceptable. As with all charity shops you never know what you will find within its walls s its always worth a look. Make sure if you are getting married in the near future to have a look at their wedding gear they have a great selection of reasonably priced second hand dresses that are absolutely beautiful.

This shop isnt the best charity shop as it is small and doesnt stock many childrens items. Looking for a adult wardrobe and this store is ok. oc have a bridal gown in the windown prices vary from £200-£400 which could save you quite a bit for your big day.

Oxfam in the high st is great for getting cards - they have some really amusing ones. They are also pretty good for childrens books and vinyls. The clothes seem rather blah on the whole, although I used to get some bits for my daughter. Upstairs, though, they do brides dresses, bridesmaids and page boys. You need to make an appointment for this, so that some one is available to give the time. They display bridal gowns in the window, and, like anywhere, they vary a great deal. My own bridal dress was not expensive at all, and if I hadn't found that I would consider a secondhand one. Why spend a fortune on one day, when you can use the money for a great honeymoon, or towards a house?
