Fantastic service experience
The young man on the door had an amazing demeanour, tough job, but he was great. I didn't have to wait long and then Ruth helped me out with a tricky bit of business really efficiently.

Amazing service. Front manager at door was so good guiding a complex set of requests . I had a great experience when you consider how awful some banks are.

Staff are very helpful. Main issue is when working full time, the opening hours do not cater to my needs and not very helpful that they're closed at the weekends.

Without any doubt NAT WEST has forgotten how to treat Customers and distanced themselves by using a useless telephone system reliant on a Customer Online banking number. Unable to get to speak to anyone on any level. Horrendous...They have also taken to closing all local branches making a trip to gain cash a 30 mile trip. Well done Nat West, truly well done. I suppose the bonuses they have each year reflects the money they take from these services they have killed off ??

So I went into the bank today expecting to be fobbed off with a load of excuses as to why my simple request to transfer some money (a relatively lagre amount to a family member) couldn't be done.Wow...was I in for a surprise...I was kept waiting about 45secs....and introduced to an advisor who was polite, respectful and knowledgable...... (there were three other Advisors also dealing personally with customer issues).In a little under 20 minutes, (once the now mandatorty security questions had been dealt with ), I had transferred the monies as intended and been looked after as if I had a 'brain' not a number.When I left, I was sure that in the future I would not encounter the same difficulties I had experienced the day before on line and had had two other matters (not very high on the agenda) dealt with and sorted.I got the distinct impression that Nat West are aware of the mounting customer dis-illusionment with their service to long standing customers, and whilst Rome wasn't built in a day, are at least trying to address some of the more commonly complained of short falls.Well Done Nat West......Good Job!!

It's a lovely bank,despite everyone moaning.It's the digital age folks,people don't handle cash now as they did before.Bank staff handle cash..hence no staff needed in all Banks.They'll all be gone eventually,same as the busy high streets we grew up with.Blame convenience ??

Always only one person on counter duty,despite often several waiting.This also applies to Bournmouth branch, Natwest seems to have forgotten customer service, and cut cost.I am in fact a Royal Bank of Scotland customer,now part of Natwest,When the Poole branch of R B S was closed the rot seemed to set in.

Eventually got through on telephone ..female answered and ended the call immediately!!!
Second attempt ....extremely polite and helpful man (Lewis) answered - immediately resolved the problem also sending details thro' post for easier 'on line banking' thank you Lewis***

Absolutely brilliant service given by customer service officer Bev, the pay in machine was playing up, she came to the rescue, no waiting just excellent results, thanks nat west for bev x ? brilliant service, thoroughly recommend this place.
