Absolutely delicious! I ordered the panner saag made with cheddar cheese instead of the usual paneer, and it was honestly the best I?ve ever had. The cheesy naan, the best cheesy naan I?ve ever had! Packed with cheese, soft and freshly made ? just amazing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the service made the whole experience even better. I?ll definitely be recommending this place to friends, and I?ll be ordering again very soon.

Found this little gem through JE and so happy I did. My new go to place for food. I usually have either madras or chicken tikka jalfrazi and every time (which has been a few now) it's been consistently fresh and delicious. Amazing naan, bhajis and the salad and mint sauce it's delish too. Honestly can't fault this place. They are always a little quicker than the delivery time too and usually food is still piping hot by the time I gets to me and I'm a good 10/15mins drive away. They also so far haven't forgotten anything in my orders which a lot of other places have done in the past and I find it so irritating.
Best takeaway in Poole i think.

Always fantastic food and very good value for money..I have been ordering for many years now and this is always my go to Indian takeaway, the owner is always polite, friendly and helpful as we have both deliveries and collections from our orders. 5/5

Abysmal food, will not recommend this to anybody. We were misled with the reviews on google. The food lacked anything to make ot edible. The man behind the counter was not helpful either. As the place did not provide any cutleries or dine in, he instructed us about a park nearby ?great views, tables to sit and eat? and to our dissapointment it was a dog park, with no space to sit down or eat without being sniffed at.
Extremly unhappy.

This take -away is without doubt the tastiest curry house in the Poole area. Fast delivery, accurate to order, zingy and fresh, good portions, not oily - just fantastic!

Prior to learning how to cook BIR style curries, we used to order from lights of India regularly throughout 2022-2023. However, I am now fully competent in cooking a huge variety of BIR style Indian curries so haven't actually ordered a takeaway since December 2023. Unfortunately, both myself and my partner are currently ill with flu so decided to order a curry instead of cooking because we are both pretty much wiped out on the sofa. We ordered at 5.30 with a delivery time of 6.30-7pm which was a bit longer than we anticipated. However then received an update with delivery between 7.30-8pm which was not really acceptable. However, the food was delivered at 6.50pm. Now, being so used to cooking my own curry, whilst the curry was tasty, it was a little oily and overpowering in curry powder. We ordered a vindaloo and a Ceylon with rice and keema naan. Unless we are ill again, I probably wont order Indian takeaway anymore, my own curries are tastier and delivery time is hit and miss.

A truly delightful local Indian restaurant! So much flavour, the lamb we had was very tender, and there was lots of it! Can?t wait to order again soon? super reasonable prices too! Would recommend.
